She was given to us through a coworker of my wife. I went to get her, and found she had a brother there as well. The parting was nothing nice. When the coworker tried to put her in the cage I brought, she fought it with all that she was worth. So, we put her and all of her barking on the back seat of my car, and she bark and growl all the way to our house. She would not come out of the car for at least 3-hours. I finally enticed her out with food and water. I left the back door open to the house, so as she would come in herself. After she saw I would not beg her to come in, she finally did. We became friends that night, until my wife came home from work, and cookie went off again. After another hour or so, she figured my wife wasn't going to leave, she warmed up to her with some food as well.
