updates.

so i got a sister... she's a real pest and unfortunately, she just rolls her tongue out and mommy and daddy thinks she's the cutest thing on the face of the planet. right.

and my mommy got a kitty... who thinks she's a dog. she goes with us when it's dinner time wanting some raw chow. mommy gives her morsels which just makes her think it's okay to beg! and when we're up in mommy's lap? she also wants in on the action! just yesterday, she scratched mommy's leg trying to get up the chair since I was up the chair!

am i the only sane dog/person/cat around here?!?

anyway, mommy is busy trying to pull together sakura's first birthday party. so... i'm thinking i won't have my own party this year.

unfortunately, she's daddy's little girl. she's almost a year and the only trick she knows is 'sit' geez! by the time i was having my first birthday, i knew sit, stay, down, roll over and play dead!

it's so hard being a great older brother... *sigh* i always have to be in my best behavior... when sakura can get away with practically anything!

Here are 7 fun facts about me:

1) I'm one big spoiled brat. I do not like it when my mom pets other dogs before me. I always have to be first. Or else I do not respond to her calls for several minutes!

2) I have shown a rottweiler, a labrador and a mini-pinscher I'm boss... but sakura, the puppy shih tzu comes in and I run away! lol!

3) I'm a great watchdog! I just watch everyone that goes in and out of the house. NO BARKS. NO WARNINGS. NO NOTHING. I JUST WATCH. *grin* Ain't I such a great watchdog?

4) I try to keep mommy from going to work by lying down on her bag. Sometimes I try to get inside it too.

5) I'm great at begging. When mommy is preparing our food and she's on the sofa, I automatically sit on her lap. Not even daddy can take me away.

6) I get scared when mommy barks at me when we're playing. It is only when she laughs that I figure out that it was her who barked.

7) I love to tease. I climb up the bed when I know the other smaller dogs can't climb up it. I hide under the sofa when Choco, the rottweiler cannot squeeze under it.

I'm neutered

Finally!

After planning for more than a year now, my mom has finally neutered me!

She went to a cheap vet (not my normal vet) for my neuter. And of course they didn't do right by me. I was in pain and I wasn't given proper pain meds. I was given anti-biotic but that vet didn't even give my mom anything to make the wound heal faster.

So she went to my real vet. My real vet prescribed good meds that healed my wound in a few days and I was fine!

And daddy was angry too because mommy did save several thousand for my neuter... but she ended up spending more than what we would've spent if she went to my regular vet because of the check-up and follow up meds that the vet prescribed because I was not well taken cared of by the vet who did the procedure on me!

Oh well. At least I'm okay now. Though I'm milking mommy for all she has! I'm being a bad boy and she feels too guilty to punish me! ha ha!

Mommy's office and other updates.

I have never been to mommy's office. But she says everyone there loves me!

She has my pictures all over her computer screensaver. She also has two framed pictures of me on her desk.

Everyone in her office also knows how much mommy loves me! In a week after she started working, everyone in the office knew she was such a dog person! bol! And everyone just loved my pictures! Who wouldn't!?

I have also moved in daddy's house, though we still visit grandma's house every weekend, I still spend more time in daddy's house. At first I pooped and peed in mommy and daddy's bed when they're gone. But, mommy realized that it was because I wasn't let out of the room to poo and pee that was why I do my thing on their bed whenever they leave. So, they don't have problems with me anymore.

I do miss my doggie aunts and uncles though.

Neuter and New Friends!

So, mommy and I went to the vet yesterday for my regular shots...

Then mommy thought to ask the vet exactly how much it would cost her to have me neutered... the vet approved her decision and went out to ask the assistant how much the exact costs are...

Let me enumerate it for you!

operation: 3,500
gas anesthesia: 1,500
blood test: 800
lodging: 1,500 (per night and I have to stay overnight)

not to mention vet fees and meds... Mommy almost dropped to the floor! bol! Ha! Serves her right for trying to remove my manliness... But she said she'll still go through with it...

Now, my dreams of ever having a girlfriend is shattered... *sob*

And I met several new dog friends in dogster! ;o)

We've been sending each other paw mails back and forth... not bad for a rug inside a cup, eh?

Mommy and cats!

For the past several weeks, mommy always leaves the house! *sob*

She says she has to go to "work." I don't like this work. It takes mommy away from me. Now, she did promise to spend the whole weekend with me!

But, since she's been away too long... I decided to give her a taste of her own medicine! I'm ignoring her!

Wait...

I usually ignore her anyway... probably why it doesn't affect her much.

Oh well... it was worth the effort!

On to more news!

Mommy brought a cat in the house! And I mean a C-A-T! And it's a weird cat too, she likes dogs for one. She thinks I'm her mommy! DO I LOOK LIKE A MOMMY!?!?! Well, mommy is glad that we're "getting along just fine."

Though I have to say... cat food is just yum!!! ;o)

Woe is me.

So, mommy brought Pinchie and I to the vet yesterday. While signing our names on the log book, a lady gave me one look and said I was cute, "duh!" of course I'm cute!

She then proceeded to tell mommy that she also breeds shih tzus. It caught mommy's attention since she was planning on getting me a wife.... but not before she had me neutered!

I mean, what's the point of a wife if I'm neutered! I tried to get this point across to mommy but she won't listen! She still wants a wife for me, but she insists that I'm neutered first!

No fair!

New Trick!

My mommy had just taught me a new trick!

Now, I know how to "play dead!"

She's been showing everyone she knows that I could do the trick now. I don't mind, it means more treats!

And I heard her tell her friends that she'll teach me "rollover" next. I don't know what that means... but I'm pretty sure I'll give her a hell of a time before she gets to teach me a new trick!

I was almost lost.

So, while mommy was feeding Choco, for some insane reason the people in the house suddenly had the urge to open the doors and gates of the house. Of course, being the good dog that I am, I dashed out!

It wasn't until after breakfast that they realized I was gone. Mommy was looking at Choco and she suddenly realized that she hasn't seen me for almost an hour! Very unlikely for me who ALWAYS follow her around.

So, she checked the whole house, even the unlikely places I might be in. When she didn't find me inside, she almost panicked. She dashed out the house and just shouted "WUFEI! BABY! COME BACK! WUFEI! WUFEI! WUFEI!"

I heard her and I barked and barked and barked until the people who took me went out and talked to mom... after a few minutes, they opened the door of their house and out I ran towards mommy!

She scooped me up, held me real tight and her tears were falling while she repeatedly said, "I love you! Don't you do that again! I was so worried!"

Now, mommy watches me like a hawk. No fun, I tell you.

So, running away is not worth it. A few minutes of freedom is not worth being watched like a hawk for the rest of your life!
