Likes:
Food, mom, and napping. Riding in the car, walks, and chasing Nala. Laying in front of the fire. Laying on mom in front of the fire. And did I mention food?

Pet-Peeves:
Being locked up in a crate. Thinking he's missing out on something. No room next to mom on the couch, or Nala being next to mom...either one really irritates him, and he'll tell you all about it.

Favorite Toy:
Mom and Nala. Jake rarely plays with toys but he does like his nylabone and knuckle bones...again with the food.

Favorite Food:
Um, all of it? Cheese, apples, carrots, bread & butter...I'm fairly certain he won't turn anything down.

Favorite Walk:
ANYWHERE! Jake LOVES to walk and especially ride in the car.

Arrival Story:
Jake came to Rhodesian Ridgeback Rescue of Nor. Cal. with his mom. We met Jake at his foster home, fell in love and took home the most perfect boy in the land. That was November 2001.

Bio:
Jake is a dream boy...a perfect angel. I say he's a model Ridgeback � he's mellow and sweet and loving with us, and when mommy's clients come to the house he places himself between mommy / the client, and refuses to leave the room until the client leaves the house. He's mommy's stalwart protector. He loves all other dogs and is incredibly patient and gentle with them...even when he gets ganged up on by 2 yappy little furballs who won't stop barking at him.
