Arrival Story:
We got Niko (as an impulse buy) when he was only 6 weeks old - there were 4 boys of the litter left to choose from and Niko was by far the smallest. The breeder told us he was the calmest and most affectionate of the bunch, so he's the one we chose. He was supposed to be my daughter's dog, but he soon stole MY heart and there's no question that he's my dog.
Bio:
We started formal obedience training early (he was 8 weeks old) and continued until about 6 months; he's a very well mannered, obedient, playful & loving dog. He can go most anywhere with us because he minds very well. The younger brothers and sisters at my son's soccer games love to throw the frisbee with him at half time. He loves to swim in the pool, but he will not get his ears wet. We got his "sister" Anna when Niko was about 1 year old and Anna was 1.5 years. Now they're inseperable.
