Ellie Belly, Old Reliable, Smelly Ellie, Puppy, Pupster

Quick Bio:

Laying under the blankets, snuggling with her sisters, laying in the sun

Giving too much love to the other dogs, talking to others and not picking her up so she is part of the conversation

Favorite Toy:
Anything filled with stuffing to viciously rip out

Favorite Food:

Favorite Walk:
Are there squirrels around? If so, she is there!

Arrival Story:
The minute we saw Ellie, weighing in at approximately 3 pounds, we were hooked! We wanted her sister, then called Dot, too, but did not have the money. Ironically, we ended up with both Ellie and her sister, Abby.

As her nickname tells you, Ellie is Old Reliable. We can bring her anywhere and she instantly adjusts to the situation. She is such a lover.

My Tail of Devotion for Ellie

Oh my little Ellie Belly. You are so grown up for your 4 years. You yell at your sisters when they are rough-housing (or should it be ruff-housing), you go downstairs to sleep in your crate by yourself for some alone time, but yet you are the most loving of all the kids. I know how you long to be an only child and that we depend on you to be good, more so than the other dogs, but we love you very much. Life just wouldn't be the same without you.

This is a special Tail of Devotion

Why Do I Suffer?

There are four dogs in my household, including myself. Mom says I have the best manners, unlike the other dogs. Unfortunately, although I'm not the oldest, Mom relies on me a lot. Because she relies on me, sometimes I feel like I don't get enough lov'n. Just because the other dogs are brats, doesn't mean I should have to suffer! I don't want to be "Old Reliable" anymore. If misbehaving is going to earn me some lov'n, then I might have to shake things up a bit.

Don't Do Drugs!

I had a pain in the butt a couple of months ago. Literally. Mom says that my anal sacs were abscessed. All of a sudden the abscess burst and I had a hole in my butt leaking puss and blood. It was not a pretty site. Mom brought me to the vet, who wanted to insert a tube to allow the area to drain properly. The vet loaded me up with enough drugs to put a Newfoundland to bed for months. But not me! I was wired. I peed on EVERYONE at the vet and turned into a maniac monster. I was growling and scratching. Mom had to bring me home without the tube. Hey, who wants a tube in their butt?
