I'm going home next week!

I have been stuck in Ontario for 2 months because Air Canada could not let me travel home to Newfoundland until spring! We left home in March 2007 for Alberta then in September we decided to spend the winter in Texas but it fell through and we got as far as Ontario in December where I had to stay with my moms sister. I'm ok here but I need my Mom!! sniff!
Can't wait to get back home. We have been travelling for a year!. Time to get back to my own bed don't you think? That blanket is going to feel soooo soft!

The snow is disappearing!!! WHY?????

Oh dear the snow is going away! I love snow!! Really I do. It tastes good and hides all my 'potty' stuff. But now my momy has to go out and pick up after the winter! Poor mommy, she's hurting so much. I hate it for her to be in pain so I kiss her all the time and I even pick up my toys.
She washed my face today and she is going to groom me in a minute. I look so beautiful when I'm groomed. Kisses for all my friends.

I'm home again !

We went on a big plane to Alberta for Christmas to visit my mommys human kids. It was nice but their dogs Nicky and Cosmo didn't like me very much because I have too much energy for them I guess. Well too bad!! I like running around and if they are too stuffy thats their problem. I don't think they have much fun though. But we're home now just mommy and me and I like it that way. Mommy does too. I just got groomed and I smell delicious mommy says.

Why can't I share my mommys dinner?

I get puppy chow and my mom gets pasta and pork! Now how fair is that?? grrr She put some chicken broth on my dinner but hers still smells a lot better than mine. sniff Shes nice about it though and cuddles me after dinner; like thats going to make me forget what she had!

veryone says I'm real cute with my special markings but I don't see any difference in Maggie and me.Maggie is a Shih Poo and shes my cousin and shes almost white. We just love to play together and when we need to be separated we are both wet from chewing on each other! She came over last night and it was so great. Her mommy says shes a bad girl cause she pees in the house a lot but she IS 2 months younger than me.Gotta give her time after all!
Its cold today so snow will be next I guess.brrrr.

Time for the Vet to get me!!Oh No!!!!

Tomorrow morning I go to the Doggie Hospital and get spayed! My mommy says it won't hurt much but I think shes wrong.I think she will cry more than me though;shes such a softie. We've been dreading this but it has to be done so I'm going to be a real brave little girl and get it over with before winter comes because mommy says its hard to travel in winter where we live.I've never even seen snow yet so I might like that better than rain.Hope so cause I still hate rain even though I do go out now sometimes. Bedtime now but I hope everyone thinks of me tomorrow.

visiting my cousin

Yesterday we came to visit my cousin MissBecky and shes decided she doesn't like me very much!! Could it be because shes older or because I torture her to death?? She looks exactly like my pal Jhonesy who lives where I was born!! Thats the reason I jumped on her! But I guess she doesn't know about that huh?
Oh well shes coming to live near us so maybe she'll get used to me. I hope so cause mommy said we'll be together a lot. I got a taste of her Kibbles and bits this morning and boy was that good!! I just get dry stuff yet.

I was good today!

Mommy put my hair up today and I haven't torn it out in 5 whole hours!!! I love getting groomed but I love having my hair down. I'm still not fond of rain but mommy makes me go out in it so I guess I better get used to it.So many rules!!! whew!!
We sleep in the same room but I only get to sleep with mommy if shes real sad.As long as I can see her its ok. Does everyone love to chew on rug fringes like me?? I get in trouble for it though because its mommys special rug given to her by my daddy I never got to meet cause he died before I came to live here.
We go to the park for walks sometimes and boy is it great!!! Squirrels and everything but they run from me; I wonder why? hmm

I don't like rain!!!

Wow its raining again today!! Just when I get used to going potty outside it rains and I realllly don't want to go out.sniff sniff
My mommy put paper down for me and I use it but sometimes I miss it by a tiny bit.But its ok;my mommy loves me anyway.
We're going on a plane ride at Christmas! yippee!! I'm going inside the cabin too right under my mommys legs.Can't wait to see my people who I've never met yet.I'm sure they'll like me though.
i'm getting better about having bows in my hair too.Mommy says its what girls do so I guess its ok.

Thought I had this training stuff mastered!

Wow! I've been doing so well here at home but last night we had to go stay with my granny cause shes sick and my mommy has to look after her. Anyway this morning when we got up I went 'potty' in the house again!! Don't know why exactly but seems it had something to do with territory marking.If any of you guys know about this stuff I'd love to know.
I'm being such a good girl and excellent company for my mommy. She just loves me and gives me little treats every time I'm good outside.We are getting a big storm tonight called 'Ophelia' tonight and my mom is sick cause of her fibromyalgia.

I'm in training!!

I only met my new mommy 2 weeks ago and we get along just great.I love it when she picks me up and lets me kiss and cuddle. I'm trying really hard not to 'go potty' in the house but I'm still a baby after all so if I have an accident she forgives me.BUt she puts me outside right away so maybe shes trying to tell me somehing...hmmm. This morning I really did it; I went 'potty' on mommys treadmill! She got that look in her eye then so I had to go out.sniff...sniff
I'll try to do better cause my mommy is not very well today and needs me to be good.
