A Wonderful Surprise!

Just a little while ago, my parents came home from a weekend on Coronado Island, and there was a wonderful surprise waiting for them. My wife, Bailey, and her mom sent my mom a memory book with all my pictures and tributes from my Dogster and Catster pals. The book has so many wonderful treasures in it.

Today is my birthday!

Today is my first birthday since I went to the Bridge on March 21, 2009. I would have been 9 years old today. I want to thank all my Dogster pals who have stopped by my page to wish me "Happy Birthday!" My parents and my new little brother and sister are celebrating my life today.

I am honored!

What a special day for me! When I woke up this morning, I saw this wonderful message, "CONGRADULATIONS To our furiend of the day DUNCAN (OUR SPECIAL ANGEL) 5/16. Thank you, Yoda Moda and the CAK group for honoring me. Then, this afternoon, my friend, Raja the Traveler, led me, Bailey, and my friends on a beautiful tour of Jerusalem. This was followed by our exquisite rehearsal dinner catered by Tayla.

I'm Dogster Dog of the Week for 4/27/09

I can't believe it. Dogster selected me as Dog of the Week. I was so surprised. And, what's so wonderful about it is all the new friends I've made and hearing from so many of the pals I've met over the past 4 years. Thanks to everyone for thinking of me and to my dear friend, Abbie, for nominating me. I'm going to try and answer all my mail and thank everyone for all my gifts, stars, and rosettes.

Update from the Bridge

My parents received this email from my Bridge pal, Lexi, to let them know how I am doing.

"I want you to know that Duncan is happy here at the Bridge. He misses you, but he watches you a lot. He gets to eat people food all the time, and his stomach never hurts. And he likes eating food without pills hidden in it. He doesn't have any allergies here. He can run and jump really well and there is no such thing as pain here.
He always rolls on his back for belly rubs. So the big dogs rub his tummy with their big paws. His furry hair is all thick and healthy, and people who have arrived here to find their pets have stopped to tell him how cute he is. He likes that.

I'll Still Be Around.

It has been one week since our sweet boy has gone to the Bridge, and a very sad week it was. So many dogs and cats have asked if Duncan will still be around. The answer is, "Yes!" He will continue doing all his silly mischief. Best of all, his wedding to Bailey will be held on May 17. He can be even funnier now that he has wings. He already caused chaos when he tried to land at the "Your Key to Happiness" Cruise Line's party. Thank you all for your love and support this week. We could not have gotten through the week without you. We are in the process of answering all of Duncan's mail and thanking everyone for his rosettes and gifts.
