Baskin park --- it's the best, especially when everyone stops to tell me how cute I am.

I give a little nudge with my paw when I want a belly rub. I like to pose in "come hither" positions.

Arrival Story:
When my mom saw my photo on the Nevada SPCA website, it was love at first sight. She went to the Nevada SPCA on her first day off from school and adopted me immediately. It was meant to be. I have the same name as my mom's first dog, and my birthday is the same day as my dad's father's birthday. I don't leave my mom's side, and I love following her everywhere. I'm even nice to her three granddaughters (my nieces) and the parrot (Koko) who my mom and dad call "my green sister."

Bio:
I was originally saved by the Nevada SPCA when I was a year old because I was abused. I was adopted by a family with teenagers. Everything was fine for 3 years until a visiting 7-year-old came into the house and got in my face. Although it wasn't my fault, I ended up at the SPCA again. That family's loss was my new family's gain. I am a faithful, loving companion with impeccable manners. I have a few strange habits. I don't play with dog toys, I hardly ever bark, and I prefer to be walked on a leash than going out in my half acre backyard. My mom and dad say that I have brought a lot of love and happiness to our family.

ICE CREAM TAG!

I was tagged by my brother and sister, Chewby and Miss Harley, and my pals, Jake and Darby. I am going to tag five friends/relatives and tell them what kind of ice cream I look like. (Lyle is chocolate chip turtle ice cream...chocolate chip ice cream with caramel and hot fudge swirls. He is self-described "delicious".)

What a special day for me! When I woke up this morning, I saw this wonderful message, "CONGRADULATIONS To our furiend of the day DUNCAN (OUR SPECIAL ANGEL) 5/16. Thank you, Yoda Moda and the CAK group for honoring me. Then, this afternoon, my friend, Raja the Traveler, led me, Bailey, and my friends on a beautiful tour of Jerusalem. This was followed by our exquisite rehearsal dinner catered by Tayla.

I can't believe it. Dogster selected me as Dog of the Week. I was so surprised. And, what's so wonderful about it is all the new friends I've made and hearing from so many of the pals I've met over the past 4 years. Thanks to everyone for thinking of me and to my dear friend, Abbie, for nominating me. I'm going to try and answer all my mail and thank everyone for all my gifts, stars, and rosettes.
