Quick Bio:
-mutt-pound dog

November 13th 2000

I like my mommy most!! Yep, that's right, I'm a bonafide "mama's boy!" I also like food, but I'm very selective about that. Oh yeah, and I like to lick toes!

I don't like when people pick me up at the dog park, or tease me. I also don't like big crowds of people, and I hate being separated from my mom whenever we go out.

Favorite Toy:
I like just about any toy, but my favorite is my dad's feet. Those things smell real good to me, like kitty catnip. I get high sniffin' those things, so much that I want to bite them, chew them, will jump in the air and whine for them. Wow, I love feet.

Favorite Food:
I love meat!! I really like when my mom gives me fresh ribs...they're fun and tasty to chew, and they help clean my teeth.

Favorite Walk:
I'll walk just about anywhere mom likes (or shall I say wants) to walk -- the dog park, walking trails, hiking trails, playing in water/creeks/ponds, and anywhere my doggy pals hang out.

Best Tricks:
Um, I don't have any...I only know how to sit and beg. Oh wait, that's right, I don't DO tricks for humans -- what am I? A circus freak? I don't think so!

Arrival Story:
I started my life on a rural property with a dog hoarder in West Virginia. One day animal control came to seize all of the dogs (about 80 of them) because the man who had us wasn't taking care of us. My mom found me on by chance, and thought I was the cutest little thing! She talked to some rescue organizations that were closer to where I was ('cause she's always lived in California), but nobody could help. Things got down to the wire and I was a couple days from being euthanized when my mom stepped up and did what she had to do to adopt me. Something about me just struck a chord with her, so she called a pet ground transport, arranged the adoption, and had me driven out to the West Coast. I was really mangy when she first got me...I had worms, I was underweight, and had an eye that was all clouded over (infected). She got me all taken care of, and today, I'm a happy camper and love my mommy (maybe a little too much, but she doesn't mind, she always thinks I'm cute).
