Thank Goodness for New Tricks - Blogging for Biscuits

My human started a new business this year because of my blog here on Dogster. Several years ago she put the name of her construction company into Google and what came up numero uno ( hehehe, that's Spanish for number one!) Well she did not find it amusing. She asked her friends what was that about and they told her that of course that would be expected since Dogster is a blog and Search Engines just love blogs.

Since my human, Judi, couldn't put her construction company on Dogster she went ahead and started a WordPress blog and learned all about it. Now that construction isn't what it use to be, it is okay. I still have my bet biscuits and plenty of chow because Judi started a company called New Tricks, with her friend Dene, all about making Blogs and using Social Media. They are really busy making blogs for people. Their motto is, "It's never too late to be best of breed!" Aren't they clever?
If you want a blog too so you can buy good biscuits, they can make you one too. Contact New Tricks at http://www.newtricks.me

Obama's Cabinet Picks

Here at the Krog Street Hound Ranch we are really interested in who President Elect Obama is going to elect as First Dog. I don't think I he has filled the position yet. I think he must be saving the best for last. He has made some great choices so far so we have high hopes for his First Dag selection. He should consider an Old English Sheepdog since they don't shed. I never knew Teddy but he was lead dog around here when Clyde was just a pup. Clyde has told us all about him and I see his pictures. Clyde was so upset when he passed that he got Teddy's bottle of Rymdyl and ate half of them. When judi came home she found the bottle of Rymdyl with only thirty of the sixty tablets left in the new bottle that was on the floor. Clyde ended up in the Dog Hospital for a week. Anyway, after Clyde got better Clifford came to live at Krog Street to keep Clyde company. He was happier then. He was really happy when I came to live there. So Obama might want to check out Sheepdogs. A sheepdog would be really great romping on the lawn of the RoseGarden. PS. Judi just blogged about Dogster here: www.blogbyknight.com.

I have been a very very lazy dog

It has been a long time since I blogged here. I have had a lot going on with my two other dog boys and my two-legged pack leaders. That little Clifford has grown up and he is starting to be a food bully. When Judi brings our food, she feeds Old Man Clyde right inside the see through doors and then she puts Clifford's and my bowls right outside the see through doors. Clifford real quick picks one of the bowls and gobbles down a couple of big bites then while I am meandering over to the blows, he runs over to the other bowl and starts chowing on that one. I just let him since he is so intent on getting a little extra. I just can't be bothered to get so bent out of shape about mealtime. Besides, later on I can always go get a snack in the pantry since I know how to stand up on my hind legs and get into the cat's food. Poor Clifford can't reach it. Hee hee hee. . .

Craig Longfellows Acting Debut

From Craig's Mom
Originally I was a clinical psychologist and I always was building buildings, so about seven years ago I decided to just do the real estate developing since I love it so much. It is like my art. And I only like to do fun projects. One of my projects was to convert an 18,000 ft cotton sorting warehouse into condominiums. It is a wonderful place and I live in one of them. www.jcknightproperties.com . HGTV has a show especially for people who have made residences out of non-residential buildings. They do a lot of barns and churches so they were glad to come to Atlanta and do my building. And they came last week.

It was a lot of fun and we did the inside most of the morning. In the afternoon we got things all set up to shoot outside. One of the scenes was to be where the host of the show, Tony would meet my three hounds. He had already met them of course and I had given him a handful of biscuits which he fed to them throughout the morning. So everything was all ready for the scene for Tony to greet them and the cameras were rolling. Tony was sitting in a chair waiting for them to come out the door and meet him. I opened the patio door and out came Clyde Clifford and Craig Longfellow and they went right over to him for some petting. Tony started petting them but then he brought out one remaining biscuit and gave it to Clyde. Well Craig got all jealous and started the biggest damn dogfight with Clyde. Clifford, the sensitive one, cleared out fast and didn't want anything to do with them. Of course the cameras are still rolling and getting the whole thing on tape. Clyde and Craig had teeth bared, snapping and growling and they were grabbing big mouthfuls of each other while rolling around with spit flying everywhere. It was like a cartoon dogfight and it seemed to go on forever. They finally quit, snarled a few times, and stomped off. Neither one was hurt. But I guess they blew their big TV debut. We did get to do the scene over. This time with no biscuits involved, the boys acted all sweet and lovey. Go figure. Just like little two leggers acting up when you have company!

It will be quite some months until the show airs but I will let you know when I find out.

Judi, mom to
Clyde (The biscuit was mineminemine!)
Clifford (Can't they just behave?)
and Craig Longfellow (What does she know.... it was a stellar performance! )

Mom got a secret parter who sent her a purse with sum hounds on it and they sent us some stuffed toys and tweets. CLifford thought he was gonna play with the toys too - but I didn't let him. THen He got rilly maD and started showing me his teef amd growling. We got into it okay. So I let him play with one of them - for a minute. Now I have gone and chewed the head off one and got the stuffin out but it is still sqweekin. Mom hates when theres stuffin all over everywhere especially if it comes from the square fluffy toys that she keeps on the couch.

My mom has lost her mind. She has a lot of work to do but instead she is taking dictation from me. I got her wrapped around my little dew claw if ya know what I mean. But I guess its time to get my treat and to go into my house for the night.

Its cool to have my buddies CLifford and CLyde to hang with. People always ask us if we're related cuz we're all such good lookin' hounds, but hey, I don't think we look alike. Before I came to live at the Krog Street Hound Ranch, these guys didn't know how to have fun. But I said "Stick with me and I'll show ya a real good time".
