Been Awhile!

Wow, it's been awhile since my mom visited here. Been alot going on! First things.. I got fixed last year! Boy did I put on some weight! You would hardly recognize me from the picture above. And guess what!!!! I learned how to shake! Who ever said you can't teach an old dog new tricks didn't know how smart I am. Morris and Misti left, and I missed her for awhile. My mom and my kids got me another dog thinking it would better for me, but they didn't know he was a pitbull mix, and he lunged at my mom's neck, and really scared everyone. So we gave him back, since then, I have been ever happy as an only dog. Well, except for the week we dog sat my mom's co-worker's dog... Fletcher. He is a male boxer and he is only 1 year old. Boy did he wear me out! He was hilarious! I have really come out of my shell Alot! I run around my nana's back yard.. chasing her dog. And now I can be found to chase a ball every once in awhile. I don't get so freaked out anymore by little things. All in all, things are going great! I am a year older, and having fun! Hope you all are having a great new year!

My New Home

Woo Hoo! My mom and kids finally got a house of their own! Its really a townhouse, but it's as huge as a house! The first day they took me there... i ran right back out the front door back to the car. I was so scared. But, now my new sister (Morris's dog) Misti, comes to see me all the time! I have even gotten to where i play with her. And they thought i was not playful. Misti is not playful at all! She just sits there when i try to play! I get to play in the indoor atrium alot though. We ususally get sent there when mom is trying to cook dinner, because she keeps tripping over us. Morris calls the three of his "his girls" lol. All in all, it's a great life! I get the whole big house to myself all day.. and i get to do the macaroni dance when everyone comes home!!! I love my kids.. But especially my mom. I am her shadow. I even whine at the door when she is in the shower. But she knows I love her! Until next time.. Ciao!

This Morning, Mom and Miles woke up early (Drew is with his dad this week, and i REALLY miss him). Mom and Miles were playing for a bit this morning, and I get REALLY jealous when they don't include me.. so, i had to TELL them that i don't appreciate being left out. So i just sat there and talked to them... (why do they think it's so funny when i do that?) They don't know as much about me as they would like to, because i was rescued by them from the vet. My previous owners decided i wasn't worth the vet bill to treat my worms. But Morris saved me! and brought me to this wonderful place.. with two playful, loving boys! And my mom, well, the first week, she let me sleep with her, but then my short little hairs kept getting everywhere, and made her itch... and i started having a few accidents in the house at nighttime, because i don't like to tell her i have to go.. (he he he he).... So, she got me a nice kennell, with lots of fluffy blankets to sleep in at night, and i haven't had an accident in about a month! But, i LOVE to play first thing in the morning. No one believes my mom and my kids when they tell them how active i can be (especially morris). lol. He says there's no way i become that active because i am such a calm doggie. There are still some things that scare me, but mom and the boys are really great about it. They are patient with me, and give me all of the love and attention i need. Even my grandmother (nana) loves me. She is always telling my mom how lucky she was to have had me brought to her. My mom tells Morris that i was the greatest gift she has ever received :)
