A wonderfully Peppy Life

It's been a while

Wow I can't believe I've been away for soooooo long. I couldn't get on the computer cause mommy was put on bedrest. Good news though, Mommys having a baby! I gonna have a little brother. She is so excited and so am I. It will take a bit to adjust to not being the baby but I know mommy loves me. I heard daddy say that the baby is due to arrive around July 22nd.
There have been a lot of changes lately. Like for instance, I am 1 yr old now. I had a puppy birthday party in April. I also learned to go outside. I have also grown quite a bit. I'm 7 lbs! I can't seem to grow much more though.

Ouch That Hurts!

Yesterday was a ruff day . Mommy and Daddy took me to the vet for my last shots. Ouch! I don't like needles. On the bright side I don't have to go back there for one year. Yeah! Oh I almost forgot, I lost two teeth. It hurt, but mom says It's because my adult teeth must grow in there place. Geez, it's been a while since I've been able to write in my diary. We were without internet access for a while, but at least mom and dad got optimum now, so it's faster than ever.

New Toy!

On Sunday that passed, mom and dad introduced me to my dad's cousin, Arlene. She's 17 yrs old. She played with me all day and I had a blast. She's looking to adopt a puppy. I hope she finds one soon, then I can go over and play with him. Arlene gave me a new toy. It's a rubber chew toy that squeaks at both ends. I learned how to make the squeak sound myself and now I run around the house making squeaking noises. For some reason this makes mom and dad laugh. They say I'm really smart for figuring out how to make the sound. I wonder what they would say if I played a tune with the toy, like if it were a flute^.^ Think they would give me a treat?
