Arrival Story:
He and his sister, Jesse, were rescued from a woman who rescued them from a puppy store that neglected them when they got sick. They were under weight and on medication when we got them. His sister didn't make it, she was showing signs of distemper and had incurable Pneumonia. Jakey has weak hind legs, a heart murmur, but has otherwise made a full recovery and is the happiest puppy to be alive.
Bio:
I am so incredibly sad to say that our Jakey is now in Doggie Heaven with all of the other amazing pals that went before him. This past weekend, at the young age of a year and half ,he had a massive heart attack suddenly and fell in my arms. After attempts of CPR were made by a true Hero, his murmured heart just couldn't handle all the fun he wanted to have in this world. Animals are filled with love and their health should not be comprimised for others' selfish business reasons. May Karma come back and bite those that support the puppy mills.
