Yipee! Cooler Weather

Last week it cooled off some some so Mom felt safer taking me on some of her errands. She's always afraid of leaving me in the car and me getting to hot. We visited the park and walked the trails. It was a pleasant day.

School's back in

My human brother and sister went back to school this week. It's alot more quiet thru the day. Mom's been working more too, before the snow starts. She Hates driving in it. So more nap time for me and Ollie. I love when everyone gets home. I stick like glue to Mom, i think she feels bad about having to leave me home. I've about perfected the sad eyes at the doorway. You have to project that hopeless look. That really gets her.;)

Last of Summer

I've had a pretty uneventful summer. Just going visiting places. Mostly staying in where it's cool. I've a hard time with the feas this year. Mom's switched from Frontline Plus to the other back of the neck stuff and still can't get rid of the stupid things. I'll be glad when it freezes!

Wow, awesome honor. I'm always surprised someone's interested in my little life! Everyone have a great and Safe 4th of July!

Watching my Family

We've had alot of company since that great big tub full of water outside got filled again. I don't understand why those crazy humans would want to take a bath? and they do it all day! They call me, but no way i'm jumping in!

Learning the laundry routine

Ollie's been watching me keep an eye on mom while she puts wet stuff in the dryer. He's finally figured out to take my spot if I'm busy elsewhere (equally important guard routine) Thankfully, mom will always have someone to watch her in case the washer or dryer decides to attack!

Glad mom's back!

Mom was gone several days to somewhere called St Louis. I'm so glad she's safely back. I've kept a close eye on her since then. Actually i've kept a one second following distance. She's not getting away!

Boating with mom and tobi

I went with mom down to terre haute to hang with her friend tobi. We went to Tobi's dad's place. He has a huge lake. The bugs were all over mom and tobi,but didn't bug me. mom couldn't figure that out! :) Mom also almost flipped out of the boat! After that i stayed closer to tobi. I was relieved to get back on dry land. Riding with those two was like boating with the 3 stooges minus one stoodge!

feeling better

i feel alot better today. had to see the vet 3 times berfore it was over. that was torture in itself. the vet at the emgerency place a a thermometer with a cat head on it. how ironic!

Alleric reaction

I had an AWFUL day yesterday. Mom took me to get my shots and the rabies was due this year. I think i had a reaction to it. A trip to the emergency vet clinic last night and another trip to my vet today, with lots of shots and medicine, i'm better. I had hives and when i started breathing funny mom freaked! Today the benadryl is making me sleepy. It was awful!

MS Walk Indianapolis April 2009

I walked for my Aunt Alena, who has MS. I had a great time! There were lots of friendly people that gave me pets. There was also some other dogs too. Afterwards, mom shared her turkey sandwich with me!

Walking on the trails

This week Ollie and I got to go with mom, dad and Lucy to the Amo trail and walk. Mom said we did 3 miles! Ollie and I could of went alot farther, but mom and dad were pooped. It was tiring i took a power nap on the couch when we got home. Ollie was still going like the energizer bunny. He's younger than me. Hey I'm middle aged in doggie years.

Spring is in the Air!

I'm so excited that Springs finally here! I've been outside running around with Ollie when it's not raining. Maybe mom will take me on some more walks since it's warmer.

5 Reasons I Love Winter

1. Love running pushing my snout thru the snow.

2. Love Christmas! Always get lots of new toys!

3. Lots of people in and out of the house

4. When it snows alot my people stay in and i get more pets.

5. Its fun to watch the fire.

Being Diary of the Day!

I can't believe i picked! How cool is that? I't's been a busy day. Riding to Grandma's to pick up my human sister. Then the mile trot with mom. So much excitement and activity! I think i'll take a nap.

Feeling better!

i think i'm to my old self. I've been going on walks with Mom and playing like i normally do. Pancreatitis Be Gone!!

Still sick

I had a pretty good week. Played some. But now i've had diarrhea. Mom got out her favorite noisy machine to clean with. I hope this passes. I hope mom don't take me to the vet again!

Still Not Feeling 100%

Pancreatitis seems hard to get over. Mom's been giving me the medicine, but i still throw up and don't want to eat. I think she's talking about taking me back to the vet to be checked tommorrow. I'd rather just hide near her under things. I Hate going to the Vet!

I'm Sick

Yesterday i went to the Vet and he said i have pancreatitis. I got IV fluids and a couple of shots. Now i got meds to take. Mommy's glad cause i take them real good. I'll eat the pill by itself. I'm pretty sick. But, I think i'm feeling alittle bit today though. I ate alittle of the special dogfood just for me.

A new Puppy!

I got a new friend to come live with us yesterday. His name is Oliver. He's got alot of energy. I'm glad I got someone to play with again!

Playing Poker

We played poker with the family last night. Mom only had one good hand, but i was a party animal!

A bath in Public!

Mom took Max and me for a ride last night. We got to walk around outside for exercise. That part was fun! Then she took us to Speck's where they have the do-it-yourself dog bath. That was not fun and now I smell like a Berry!

Halloween 2007

Halloween was alot of fun. Mom just made us wear bandanas this year. She's had me wear shirts in the past so this was better. Lots of kids came trick or treating so we had company. Max is so tired he's snoring as i type!

Fall is Here!

It was a great summer. Playing outside with Max and the neighbor dogs, Jackie and Duke. But Fall is nice. Mom and Dad had a fire the other night and i got to lay in front of it. (when Aunt Alena wasn't hogging it). Halloween is coming up next week. It fun to help Mom greet the trick or treaters. Maybe I'll dress up. Hopefully I'll get a treat too!

A New Brother!

I'm so excited. I got a new brother on Jan1, 2006. He's 11mo old. I don't don't understand why his old owners didn't want him? I think he's alot of fun! We've been going to the local school and walking/running the mile course together. Mom wants to get in shape for spring. That means more walks for us. Good deal! Although she keeps hooking us together with some sort of tether and then has one leash. We're getting better at walking together but it's taking some time. Much to Mom's amusement. But she doesn't think its as funny when we run around her and wrap her in the line!

Christmas is Coming!!

I could smell Greenies in a bag Mom brought in. I kept trying to get into it so she put it up high. I hope they were for ME!!

I miss you Winnie

I miss you and am sorry you had to go. I know you where top dog around here and that spot is empty. Mommy misses you and accidently says your name sometimes. Til we met again.

Having a Great Summer

I'm having a great summer so far. I went camping with mom and my human brother and sister for a week. I got a life preserver so now I can go out on the pond with mom. I've gotten to go all over for family things and meet new people. I'm having a great time playing with my best bud Toby(boston terrier). We hang out by the pool or ride around in the car and sometimes get icecream! It's been a hot summer but its been fun!

Going to School

Today Mom started me in a clicker class. It was alot fun but I was tired and cranky at the end. It's hard work concentrating. Mom laughed at me on the way home I was so tired I just sat up and leaned against the car seat.
