Bookie,
My little Bookie. You are such a joy to have in my life.
You always want to be with me and I always love being with you.
When I am in town shopping for a little while without you, I think of you and
always can't wait to get back home to you and Tootsie.
You bring the sunshine to a cloudy day.
I love you with all my heart and I never want to know what it would
be like to not have you. You hold a very special place in my heart and
no one else could fill that void if I didn't have you.
Thank you so much for being a big part of my life and our family.

Today it was nail trimmming time again, so Mom took Tootsie(my sister) and I to the vet.
Tootsie had to get her anal glands done too. Hee Hee.... You can read about that in her diary if you want to.
Mom saw what she thought was a cute Pomeranian at the vet and I thought she would go crazy over it. She said, "Oh, I want one!"
I dont worry about it though, cause I pout if she pays anyone much attention other than me and Tootsie, and that cures her of even thinking about getting another doggie! She tells everyone she can't get another one because it would make me too sad. I really have her wrapped around my paw!!!

Last night I was feeling a little restless, so out from the covers I came and headed for my Bookie Snacks. Mom always leaves me a couple out at night in case I decide I want some. I grabbed one and headed back on the bed where Mom was sleeping and decided I would throw it in her face to see what she would do. I slung it and sure enough it hit her and woke her up, she said,"Stop, Bookie!"
She threw the Bookie Snack down and I went and grabbed it again and repeated the same action over and over, giving her just enough time to fall asleep each time. I was having a ball seeing her aggravated. So, I just kept on until suddenly the alarm went off. Well, the fun was over, so I crawled under the covers and slept till about 11:00 a.m., while poor Mom had to get up!

Mom sent Dad to the store today to pick up a few things. One of the things she wrote on the list was "Bookie Snacks", that's what we call the Pup-Peroni Dog Snacks that Mom buys for me (because my nickname is Bookie).
Well, Dad got almost everything on the list and came home. Mom started looking through the bags and didn't see my snacks anywhere. Dad knew what she was looking for and said, "They didn't have Bookie Snacks. I even asked a lady that works there if she knew what aisle I could find the Bookie Snacks on and she said she never heard of them." Mom went to her knees laughing!!!!
She thought Dad would know she meant Pup-Peroni Snacks, but he didn't!!
Now, Dad is a little embarassed. And we are still laughing!!!!!
