Gone But Not Forgotten
There’s a hole in my heart
Where Cowboy used to be.
No words of condolence
Or kind sympathies
Can quiet the storm
That I feel at my core
Knowing dear Cowboy
Won’t be here anymore.
Friends say they’re sorry
Intentions are true.
They can’t understand
What I’m going through;
Grief’s my companion
Since I’m without you
My soul’s filled with sorrow
I walk around blue.
But there’s comfort in knowing
My beloved pet waits.
He ’s crossed Rainbow Bridge
And entered the gate
Where all of God’s creatures
Who’ve passed from the Earth
Are happy and healthy
A blessed rebirth.
So I thank you my Cowboy
For friendship so true
When others deserted
I could count on you
I’ll carry your memory
Forever inside
And patiently wait
‘Til you’re back by my side.
In Loving Memory Of
Cowboy

HAHAHA..So, Hemi had a "ruff" night. Paleeze! It was funny to hear about it. Now you know what it's like with the shoe on the other paw so to speak. While you were being gummed, drooled on, jumped on, picked on, I was relaxing on the cool floor, with the TV on. Yes Hemi, I was chillin with a movie, kibble in my bowl and occasionally Cat walking past me to chit chat. We laughed a few laughs, imagining what you were going thru. As you get older, you will get wiser and know the difference as to where mom and dad are going. That's why I made no effort to get up, I knew you were goin to Irma's house. They weren't going for a walk to the park. (Hint: rattle of keys, mom and dad changing clothes and packing treats in a baggie means someones house) Cat and I enjoyed our Friday night..you got "Pug-orized".

"What ever"..he is still a little chump..I mean pup. So, he is 1 yr. old. I heard mom talking louder to Hem"roid" today..he got in truuuuuble! He pee pee'd on the floor and Mom was only gone an hour. Where is his brain! She got it all cleaned up and shampooed. Mom is good about that! I just overheard last night how good Hemi has been, that he had had no potty spills in over a month..guess he figured since it was his birthday, he got to do what he wanted. All I heard was "bad boy..bad boy". I am the good boy, the smart boy, the adult..king of the doggy door!! I have tried to explain certain no no's to Hemi..but I thinks he has too much hair in his ears. I'm just an old guy but smart. Hemi drives me crazy sometimes, he runs around the house like a mad man..round & round the tables, over the sofa and barks at biscuits. He runs over to me when I am sound asleep and barks in my ear to wake me. I don't want to wake just yet..I'm almost 11 years old. When my eyes are shut, do I look like I wanna play? And why lately are you tugging on my hair and pulling it out? I'm already seeing signs of male pattern baldness. I don't need the extra help. Brothers...ugh!!! I love him though.
