Likes:
Milo loves the great outdoors. Bring on the cold whether and the snow. He stalks squirrels and will overtake a 6 foot fence in one fell swoop to get to one. He loves to do somersaults and run. But his favorite activity is climbing trees.
Pet-Peeves:
Staying home. Milo is a dog on the go. For years he went to work with me. Though the older he gets, the more I find him enjoying the creature comfots, a feather bed, a pillow, you know....what every dog wants.
Favorite Toy:
Duckie, snakie, mr. beaver. you name it. It's his favorite.
Favorite Food:
Milo is a vegetarian...though he seems to like steak as he's taken many steaks off the counters over the past year....
Favorite Walk:
We go to the country alot, and do a lot of trails.

Arrival Story:
I had my heart set on a greyhound. However, the rescue group I was working with was not too helpful. I was broken hearted when they told me I wasn't a suitable candidate (right, because my dog goes everywhere with me???). Whatever. So Monday morning I was at work, and calling shelters all over Chicagoland, making my mom run around to look at potential candidates for me. I opted to go to the Anti Cruelty Society at lunch, where I found a yellow lab mix. Now I'm not scared of any animal, but this thing tried to devour me. I put him away, and was going to walk out. I happend to just make a run through and there was this man standing over this cage with a sweet, sad looking dog. As he was reading the card, I was falling in love with this dog. I asked if I could walk him, and when we stepped foot outside I asked him to sit. He sat immediately, and looked me in the eyes. He took his paw, put it in my lap. Tears welled up in my eyes...he picked me. I called my boss, and told him I wouldn't be back for the rest of the day....
