Papi, Pickle man, Pickle head, Pickle butt, Snuffles, Baby boy

Doggie Dynamics:
not playfulvery playful

Quick Bio:

June 11th 2002

Pickles loves to play with his wife Olives and with other Basset Hounds and to be with the ones that love him. He also loves to beg for scraps at the table. He also LOVES to howl at anyone and everyone in passing. He will gladly sing with you anyday! :)

He hates to have his ears cleaned out! He also HATES to have his nails trimmed! It's such a chore to get it done with him!

Favorite Toy:
A green squeaky. He will play with mostly anything that you put in front of him: old sock, rope, underwear, shoe, flip flop, anything! He is just a very playful pup!

Favorite Food:
Anything and everything! He sometimes turns his nose up to his dog food, but eventually woofs it down! He loves veggies, believe it or not! And bread! Bread is probably his all time favorite from the human's list!

Favorite Walk:
He loves walking around the neighborhood and mingling with the neighbors.

Best Tricks:
He can beg for a whole five minutes! He can play dead, too. These are his two favorite tricks and will gladly do them anytime that you ask!

Arrival Story:
My mother-in-law had just passed away and we needed something to lift our spirits. Pickles was the perfect addition to our family. He lifted our spirits then and has continued to do so every single day since the first time he came into our lives.

Pickles came from Alabama orginally. We think that he wasn't treated the best from the previous owners that had Pickles. He wanted nothing to do with us when we first got him. However, the cuttest story that we always remember about Pickles is that when we first went to go and pick him up, he was in a large pinned in area with two dachshund puppies. He sat on both of them, because they were getting on his nerves. So, here was this eleven week old basset with two daschunds heads sticking out from his rear. He looked as though he was saying, "Look at me! I rule this kingdom. I am the king!" Not much has changed since then! We still laugh about that story to this day!
