She doesn't really have any except getting in her crate for dinner or a treat.

Arrival Story:
Della was picked up by animal control in a neglect case. Her owner was a very old man and he couldn't take care of his two beagles very well. I was finishing my last day of working at the SPCA when they came in and I remember them. It took the SPCA 6 months of court time to get the dogs turned over to them. Della's other housemate got adopted, but Della sat in the kennel for a little while longer until there was no more room. They were going to put her down and I got a call since I was doing beagle rescue and I pulled her. She was supposed to be a foster dog... but became our fourth permanent member of the dog pack.

Bio:
The SPCA thought Della was about 8 years old, but I think she's closer to 6 at the most. Her teeth were very gunky but we've been feeding her Science Diet TD and in less than a year her teeth are almost completely clean. She is heartworm positive but we've been keeping her on HeartGuard and we'll test her again this month. She's a small beagle - only about 18 pounds, but she's very athletic and energetic and a clown (as most beagles are). She cracks us up on a regular basis.
