Chillin in Seattle

Wow I really like it here. We got a sweet apt with a view over Union Lake. I drape myself over the arm chair every morning and sit and watch the world go by (literally on the 5). Last week my Mom found the coolest dog park. She didn't realize the dog walker takes me everyday. This is a good one with a big play area then a long walk to the beach. You know I'm not going in that water but I enjoy watching the other dogs jump in - fools!!! It is a good walk for a little guy like me and lots of dogs to smell. Seattle isn't all that friendly in the downtown area especially that first hotel. I'm glad we moved outta there but I did like walking by that coffee shop every morning. My Mom didn't know why I liked it so much since neither of us had ever been inside - guess she couldn't smell how yummy it was. Ok off to go sleep some more, 20 hours a day is never enough.

Who doesn't like street fairs? Cheesy corn disk, grilled chicken and dropped pieces of fruit everywhere. Some guy at the dog park was bumming me out this morning sticking a camera in my face while I was trying to lounge on the bench. I showed him and kept moving each time I saw his finger pressing down on that button. Click, oh turn again. Click, oh sorry did I blink? Now maybe you will go away and leave me to my musings on who, if any of these dogs are worth jumping down to sniff. Ahhh and then back home. It is always great when there is a street fair. My lady is always trying to drag me through there but I know how to loiter in front of the best booths. And some guys stopped to tell me I was the cutest dog, tried working that for a treat. Now I'm just gonna sack out in the middle of this big bed and take a nap for the rest of the day.

Well, we just came back to the tiny apartment. Don't get me wrong I love being able to chase the squirrels freely in the backyard. But I miss that CT. If you ever get the chance go to the dog park in Westport. Man there are a lot of squirrels to chase and butts to sniff. It was the largest natural dog park I've ever been to. I also miss that beach. That crazy lady was dragging me on four mile walks each morning along the beach. I figured it out though. If I would just look longingly at the bench then she would sit down and pet me when I jumped into her lap. I sure liked watching those sailboats. The dogs on those walks weren't too nice though - how come their humans kept those leashes so short? I just wanted to sniff them a bit. Oh well......now I'm back in NYC and have so much yummy things to sniff and eat off the ground. Ahhhh to be home.
