Running through the woods, chasing squirrels, barking at all threats real or imaginary
Other dogs who dare to walk down 'his' street
A peanut butter-filled Kong
A taste of Momma's grilled chicken

He says he's too dignified to do tricks.
This magnificent creature was tied to a parked car at an auto body shop for the first three years of his life! No doghouse, no nothing! After seeing his plight, a dog lover rescued him by purchasing him from his neglectful owner. I met her in the park two days later and after hearing his story, decided immediately to adopt him. The rest is history in the making!
At 125 lbs, he's a big boy! In fact, I get comments on his size on just about every walk. It's especially heart-warming when someone from Germany sees him and he reminds them of "home" and how big the shepherds are there. And though he seems ambivalent (read: suspicious) I think he really likes the attention. Deeg is a serious dog. He came to me neglected and in search of a 'job' to do. He was a pseudo-guard dog, and it's hard to get that out of his system. But he's learning... not just to love but to relax and ENJOY. And he's come a long way... he will always be the quintessential Shepherd, but he's also experiencing a 'second childhood,' filled with lots of tail-wagging, tummy rubs, kisses and love.

As a German Shepherd Dog, I'm hardwired to serve & protect. However, when the victim of foul play is my 'little' brother, I not only want to protect him but I'm barking mad!
Thanks to everyone who has supported Titan... from his humble beginnings as a deaf and blind shelter pup to becoming the World's Tallest Dog. Many of you know that Guinness recently awarded the title to another dog. What you may not know is that 'giant' George isn't a giant at all. In fact, at 39" he doesn't measure up to MANY of the dogs that entered this race, let alone stand up to my 'little' brother's height of 42.25".
So, how did George manage to nab not only the title of World's Tallest dog but World's Tallest Dog EVER? Visit Titan's blog at www.titanandfriends.com for proof that 'giant' George is less World's Tallest Dog and more World's Tallest Fraud.
Granted, I'm no police dog, but I know a crime when I see one!

Thanks for your support of a fair competition!
