Arrival Story:
Mokey was the only dog at the pound that didn't bark. The whole family went into a little room at the pound and she was brought in to check us out. She seemed to like us and we certainly liked her. Our house was checked out and approved by the Humane Society. Although our family's name was fifth on the list, we won custody. The Humane Society was a little concerned about her because her lineage was a best guess since she was picked up near a dumpster on Rockville Pike where she was scavaging for food. Her body type suggested some kind of terrier, perhaps a pitbull mix. She certainly was a headstrong little terror. We sometimes forget we called her "Terror Terrier" now that she's our "Forever Little Angel."
Bio:
Mokey's kidneys stopped functioning and she crossed over The Bridge Dec. 1, 2008.

I know it has been almost a month since Christmas, but I STILL can't believe my pawrents got Axel another squonky chicken when he hasn't destroyed the one he got two years ago yet!

I met a new friend, Shaila, at the Bridge on November 30, 2010. Her family was very sad when they made the decision to help her cross. I want to tell them not to worry. Shaila is very happy here. She is watching her family and will be with them forever in their happy memories.

Today is the day my family celebrates my birthday. Today they are celebrating Memories of Mokey.
