Easter

I hope I get the Easter Bunny for Easter.

Boring

It sure is boring here now that Mokey is not feeling well. I've chewed up a few paper towels and corralled a few skeins of yarn in the living room. But life is pretty boring. Maybe I'll go see if Mokey has left any food in her bowl.....

Yeah, I stayed

Even though my mom hasn't been taking me to obedience classes, she still practices the commands on me. "Stay." she commanded this evening as she ran out into the freezing cold to take the trash to curbside. Yeah, I was irritated. She knows I love to run out with her and mark my territory. O.K., I'll stay, but I'll show my displeasure by slamming the door closed. HAHA. Boy was she surprised when she tried to get back in and realized the door was locked. HA HA. Freeze, baby freeze!

Special Snow

It's snowing squirrels! Oh my dog, I can hardly wait to catch a few!

My Protractor

No one can deny the fact that my esteemed associate, Dexter Nova Bright Star is probably the smartest dog on Dogster. When he told me "Remember, the size of your protractor does not matter nearly as much as your talent for geometry," I knew I had my work cut out for me. Yes, I DO have a very large protractor, but I realize I know very little about geometry. Guess I better look through the family library and see if I can sniff out a book to help me.

Watching

I hear there's a winter storm watch in effect in our area. I've been asking to go out every fifteen minutes so I can keep watch.

My Letter to Santa

Dear Santa,
I have been very good this year. I only took that package of luncheon meat from the kitchen table because it was going to go bad and stink up the house if someone didn't eat it right away, and the same thing with the block of cheese Mom was cutting up and then she had to go answer the telephone. And Mokey TOLD me to knock that box of dog biscuits off the ledge so that doesn't count. Plus she ate some of them too. I still don't know how the meat thermometer and Dad's glasses got in my cage, and as far as the balls of wool yarn, I was only trying to protect them. So there, as you can see, I've explained it all. Please bring me lots of treats and toys.

Rain

Of course I have to go outside every hour or so, rain or no rain. I have to make sure no squirrel or bird is trying to invade my territory. I try to get Mokey to come out with me, but she refuses.
