I Found Mom's Tail!

Mom found that little tail thing that connects the camera to the computer. I was keeping it safe in my bed. She was very excited and spoke loudly when she found it. I think she was pleased because she now has two tails and neither one has that hard little piece at the end.

I Didn't Go Crazy!

My human decided to take me to a meeting with The Lake Frank Dog Club and Maryland National Capital Parks and Planning Commission today. We are trying to convince the officials to allow us to use part of Lake Frank for an unfenced dog exercise area. My human was nervous. She was wondering if I would "go off" and start barking ferociously and pull her down the hill and into the meeting area on her stomach. We arrived fashionably late because she made me sit everytime I got a little ahead of her. I didn't even bark when we walked up to the group. She gave me a piece of a roverolli when I sat quietly. The officials from the Commission walked by me after the meeting and I didn't even move away when a couple of them petted me. I was a little disappointed that my human wouldn't stay after the meeting was over and let me play with the other dogs. I hope we win our case and she can take me there off leash real soon.

No More Doggie Biscuits

We have no more doggie biscuits. I know, because I took the box from the shelf and ate them all. BOL. I love it when dad's in charge!

She took my stick!

I'm still in a state of disbelief. I brought a huge stick into the house (my human brother thought it was funny.) And Mokey took it away from me and chewed it into little pieces which she left all over the floor. She growled when I tried to take it back. The worst part was when the woman came home from work she blamed it on me! (Of course, it didn't occur to my human brother to clean it up.) Anyway, he told her, "Mokey did it." But she wouldn't believe him! Why do I always get the blame?

Just Helping

My human brother was looking for his class notes this morning. "Don't worry brother. I'm shredding them for you," I woofed. Mom told me I can't print what he answered. She said, "Wait a minute," and ran to get her camera before he came outside. Shredding documents is hard work, but I'm always willing to help!

Tired of Waiting

I'm getting tired of waiting for my MDOG results. I wonder if Mokey got to the mail first and hid the envelope?

Get Back Here

We were doing one of our boring "Down, Stays" in class. I saw a little basenji type dog zip by. "Don't worry. I'll herd him back," I thought and started after him. My human was surprised. She said, "No," and grabbed me. Professor Jan made her hold my leash for the rest of the exercise while each of the dogs had a chance to run to their owners. But then she gave me treats every time I looked at her. Weird woman.

My first indoor kill

Today was my first indoor kill of a cricket. My mom said they will probably be hopping in more now that the weather is getting cooler. She seems pleased I am taking over this job. Mokey can use the help. She's no spring chicken.

Doggie Dip Day

Doggie Dip Day at the Rockville Pool was unbelievable! I have never sniffed so many butts in my life! I went into the water a little way with my human brother, but I didn't stay very long. I left the heavy duty swimming to the retrievers, spaniels, and poodles.

My humans concentrated on watching me because Goodie Two Shoes Mokey always stays close by. They sure were surprised this time when she somehow managed to get through the guarded gate and started heading for the woods. I wonder where she was going? I've asked her, but she won't say.
