Nicknames: Mouse, Lily Bean Shaving Cream, Tiny Pickle, Hucklebutt, Tripod, Hopalong McFlopalong, Baby Potato, Loaf of Bread, Lilith, Banana-head.

Quick Bio:
Likes: Sleeping, couch-racing, giving kisses, farting, pooping, eating, snuggling under the comforter, begging, baking my brains out in the summer sunshine, playing my version of soccer, being with my big sister, Guy.

Pet-Peeves: Being in quarantine. Being forced to wear stupid hats. Having to walk in the rain or extreme cold. Salt and other ice melters that hurt my tender toes.

Favorite Toy: Red light-up ball, croc-a-doodle, indestructible chicken-fish and skunk-fish. Soccer ball, soccer ball, soccer ball.

Favorite Food: Cheese, cheese, and more cheese! Also, crackers, chicken, apples, challah, tomatoes, peppers, cucumbers, grapes, and Greenies. Sometimes tissues and books.

Favorite Walk: Jamaica Pond, Larz Anderson Park, and anywhere in Teaneck or the Berkshires.

Best Tricks: Using my paws like hands to hold onto the red ball.

Arrival Story: I spent the first seven years of my life as a breeding dog in a puppy mill, and was terribly neglected and sad. The puppy mill decided to get rid of me (and my mom and sister) because I was no longer producing puppies, but I was rescued and sheltered by the Blue Ridge Bull Terrier Club's rescue program, and then adopted by my loving mom! I had been kept inside in a suspended cage in the puppy mill, so I was scared of everything. My mom had to teach me how to play with toys and run outside and go up and down the stairs. I figured out how to give kisses pretty quickly, though. My mom's parents thought I was so wonderful that they decided to adopt Guy. But when Guy and I met, we were inseparable, so she became my big sister. I'm actually in charge of everything in the world. I bet you didn't know that, but it's true.

Bio: We lost Lily on August 27, 2005. She developed congestive heart failure and was fading quickly, and the vet very kindly came to our house so she could be comfortable on her couch, with her sister and her ball and her blanket, through the end. We miss her tremendously, and there is a Lily-shaped hole in all our hearts.
