Arrival Story:
It was November of 1986 in Huntsville, Alabama, where I was having lunch with some girlfiends. I remarked that I was going to buy my boys (at the time in 2nd grade and 4th grade) a Westie perhaps for Christmas. My friend Bonnie said: "Don't do that!" "I have the perfect dog for you, a cairn terrier, Johnny Angel---I did all the research---this dog doesn't shed---" "But (she went on to say) I am just not a dog person! I've had this dog for two weeks---and he pooped in my daughter's piano book bag---Would you like to buy him?" So, I made an appointment that afternoon. She brought him to my house---It was LOVE at first sight! She told me how much and I gave her the cash. I've always laughed at this story of how I bought an adorable, most wonderful pet anyone could ever have. He made our lives complete! We needed him much more than he needed us! He was the center of our lives from that day in November of 1986 until God called him home July 16 of 2000.
Bio:
Johnny Angel was a snuggle dog! We would fight over who he'd sleep with every single night of his life! His AKC name was Buster Saxon's Johnny Angel.
