Leave a bone for Aki

Nicknames: Buddy, Boy!, Aki-san, Stretchinator, Little Stretch, Buttinator, Furry Son

Quick Bio:
Likes: Complete strangers who pet, fetch, organizing his toys, wrestling with friends, laying on the porch in the sun, napping with mommy and daddy, yanking really hard on the leash, abc gum, sand, taking his friend Gordy's toys and sitting on all of them

Pet-Peeves: His nemesis: the harness! Dogs on tv, not being allowed to dig holes in the carpet, being held, dingleberries

Favorite Toy: Tennis ball guy and the flourescent orange football

Favorite Food: Natural Balance lamb treats, cheese, meatballs, peanut butter, cream cheese

Favorite Walk: Anywhere mommy and daddy are going-- especially to the beach or Central Park ( loves to scatter ducks)

Arrival Story: After tons of research, my boyfriend and I began the search for a breeder who had a Shiba puppy. A nice couple from El Cerrito decided to get out of breeding and this was their last pup. She had been holding on to him, but at 3 months decided that he needed to go to a new home (without an already present dominant dog). So, he came to us and has been swaggering around our house ever since. Four months old and already thinks he's King!

Bio: Aki is a macho little stud-muffin. Whenever possible, he uses his cuteness for personal gain, evil, and general destruction. If he weren't a dog, he'd be pursuing a rap career or something involving fame, fortune, and bling-bling. Believing himself to be invincible, ten-feet tall, and the master of all domains, he has a tendency to be overconfident. He doesn't realize that he is a little dog, that's for sure. Despite this, he is a charmer-- lovable and sweet with people, fiesty and playful with dogs.

I am king! Now that I've laid down that foundation, let me tell you about the last six months. At Mommy and Daddy's I've got it good. They feed me food that I choose to ignore half the time and spend a lot of time sitting around and staring at me. I have lots of doggie friends to hang out with. Last week we had a raging party where Gordy the beagle couldn't stop throwing up. Little Tibi and I have been kickin' it old school and getting to know each other better. I like her because she likes to play really roughly and she's pretty cute. I think I might want to ask her to go steady.
Twice a week I go to daycare, where I get to play with my friends and reek havoc. I love it there because I get to play in the water and get lots of love. Before I was fixed, I liked to play really roughly (so everyone would know I was the boss), but now that I'm fixed I cut right to the chase. I've taken to walking up and peeing on the first dog that I see. For that, and my uncontrolled screaming when I was held, I was suspended from daycare and sent to the doggie psychologist. Now that my head has been shrunk, I am much better adjusted and do far better at daycare.
I'm not fully grown yet (I'm only 18 pounds), but I think I might be pretty handsome when I am. Mommy tells me that all the time. I love her cause she pets me and lets me sleep on the bed. Oh yeah, and she lets me stand up on the balcony and bark at the people in the coffeeshop parking lot!
Anyway, I have to get ready for my big trip to Bear Valley. I love it there because Mom lets me play in the water and sniff stuff. I'll catch up later.
