Arrival Story:
My husband and I headed off for a day's hike and stopped at a arts fair on the way. 2 weeks ago, Lucy was on death row before being rescued by Teller County, which has a "N0-Kill" policy. One look into her eyes and it was love at first sight. (Wish I could say the same for our cats, but they are getting along much better than anticipated!) Needless to say, we traded our hike for a trip to the pet store!

Bio:
We don't know anything of Lucy's background, but suspect she may have belonged to a military family. She's extremely well disciplined and seems to have a phobia of people in uniform! She may have also spent some time on a ranch, she has a strange attachment to the horses and deer in the neighborhood. Lucy goes nuts when she hears a doorbell on the TV or any kind of animal. She has this endearing way of cocking her head as if she's so desparately trying to figure out what's going on.
