Arrival Story:
When we worked with dog rescue, Shelby came into the program after his previous "family" brought him to a vet's office to have him put to sleep. The vet instead asked them to give him over to rescue, which (Thank God!) they did. We fostered him and when a family adopted him but brought him back because he was "too big" , we decided it was fate and kept him. He was terrified of any floor that wasn't carpeted and if you even raise your voice at him he cries, so god only knows what his previous home did to him. Poor thing.

Bio:
Shelby is definitely daddy's boy and only sleeps on his side of the bed.
