Sit/Stay/down/stay/heel (sort of) giving 5, retrieving tennis balls and bringing me kong balls to be refilled.
Arrival Story:
I have had Beau for three years now. An acquaintance didn't want to keep him and offered him to me. I said "yes" in a flash! I'm Beau's third and final owner and I think he's wonderful! Obedience training has only made him that much better and more bonded to me.
Bio:
Beau pretty much kept to himself at first—kind of a lonely dog. Now he's my boy—very playful, affectionate and demanding! He's still independent, though, especially outdoors. Beau's very mellow with people, kids and other dogs. Likes parties and get-togethers—works the crowd!

After being mom's one and only for so long, I now have a German Short-haired Pointer mix named "Kady" for a sister! Mom said Kady would keep me company when she is gone, but Kady just chews up my stuff and chomps on my tail when she wants to play. She is cute, but I am cuter. Kady used to live at the Idaho Humane Society but we adopted her one year ago. I'll post some pictures real soon…

I'm so proud of myself! In the last 2 weeks I have caught two big field mice while hiking with my human! Woof! What I don't get is why she screams and makes me drop it. Last night, I chased one down right near the edge of the road and she just kept shouting at me to drop it—no petting, no rewards—maybe I just need to catch something bigger.

Last night my human surprised me by taking me to the irrigation creek for a swim!
It was great! Woof! I felt sorry for her just standing on the bank, so I pretended to get my collar caught in some reeds…Sure enough, she waded in when I started to yelp and she got water and sand all over her jeans! I then shook myself out right in her face so she would get the full effect of the great water! Unfortunately, we had to go home then—and then I got a bath. Still fun!
