Wow! It's been forever since I've had a minute to get my thoughts together...

My baby sister arrived last spring. I can't believe it's been 8 whole months since mommy and daddy brought her home from the pound. I'm not sure what kind of dog she is yet. She's about my size but almost completely bald, and she has this really weird bark, like nothing I've ever heard before. I think she's some kind of Mexican hairless cross or something. I really wanted to name her Nacho (being that she's Mexican and all), but mommy and daddy decided Madden would be a better name, Maddy for short.

When she first came home I really didn't understand what all the fuss was about. She was really lazy and didn't know any tricks at all. I've been really busy teaching her all sorts of neat stuff. She can crawl and cruise around the furniture and she's even climbing the stairs now. But mommy doesn't like when I encourage her to climb the stairs without an adult around.

We're great pals and are totally inseperable. She thinks I'm the funniest thing ever and loves to follow me all around the house. And she's pretty cool too. She always shares her stuff with me, like her toys and lunch (much to mommy's dismay). I especially love to lick her face after she's had her yogurt and fruit snacks. She laughs and laughs and it tastes pretty good too.

Baby sisters are the best thing ever. Ask your mommy and daddy for a baby of your own, they rock!
