Arrival Story:
From the moment Triton came into our home, he has fit right in. He acts likes he has "always" been in our family, but most importantly he loves his Koda Bear. He will snuggle and give kisses to Koda for as long as K will take it. The first week Tri was "home", he had a puppy tantraum - spinning around madly and then throwing himself onto the floor (front & back paws out), letting out a hummmm - all because he couldn't have big dog's food (Dakota's food). We laughed and he looked at us as if to say "just wait til I'm bigger" and that foods all mine!
Bio:
Triton has wonderful facial expressions. He looks at you as if he was a wise man. He is extremely loving and one smart pup! Triton's mom is the Delta Burke of Black Lab's and his Dad is a true Romeo Lover Boy! Triton is our guardian angel - especially to my Rottie Dakota. Kota's heart was broken when his Bubba (Aero) crossed Rainbow Bridge & his spirit was slipping away. Triton brought the "sunshine" back into our family and we will be forever grateful to you my lil' T. Dakota & Tri are always side by side and when they are not playing happily togther, you can hear them - "my teeth are bigger, no mine are"!

I just wanted to take a second to write an entry about a phenomena called Black Dog Syndrome. Before Mom and Dad adopted me, they had no idea how many black dogs there were in the rescues and shelters. Mom had always loved black pups so much, so she had no idea. But for many reasons, such as that we can be difficult to photograph, and some people thinking we look scary, there’s a high percentage of the dogs in rescues and shelters that are black—especially larger black dogs. It’s been such a common issue that they are calling the dogs Black Pearls. They may be black, but they can sure brighten up your life! For anyone looking to adopt a pup, please consider the black pups when choosing your newest edition to your family. Here’s a website with more information about the subject for anyone interested. OMDawg.....today was a very special & uplifting day for me ~ Reagan ~ Dudley ~ & me had a pawsome playdate ~! Dudley & me even bonded & played together while my M & Reagan snuggled & played.
On the drive over, I would make my grunting monkey sounds everytime M said Reagan's name...... my GF always makes my day brighter & I am blessed to have a special furbaby friendship with such a cutie. M forgot her camera but took a couple on her cell phone.....so may be some day soon we'll see those pix ~ I'm not holding my breath.....
It was nice to have some alone time with M as well.....yup this was my special day & baby Kona was left at home.....BOL~ he got some nice alone time as well & got a walk around the our neighborhood. I have been told he did very well without me.....go figure the "tank" walks better alone than with me ~ .....he'll never be as well behaved as I am.
I'm off to catch some much needed ZZZZZZ's......
