My mommy, giving kisses, chew toys, sleeping, getting treats, playing with Target, sleeping on the couch, squeaky toys, taking pictures,

Our next door neighbor's loud music and loud friends, loud people, loud noises, being wet from the rain, the vacuum cleaner (GRRRRRRRRRRRRR)

Favorite Toy:
I love love love squeaky toys! My favorite one is my toady...I chewed open his eye, but Humommy fixed him! I love my tug rope too and any toy that I can chew and chew and chew!

Favorite Food:
I really really like anything made with peanut butter. I also like scrambled eggs and any human food I can steal from Mommy.

Favorite Walk:
Around the apartment complex lake-I like to go after the geese.

Best Tricks:
sit, sit up/beg, dancing with mommy on my hind legs, shaking hands, "high five", playing pattycake

Arrival Story:
After 7 months of searching for a small breed dog (under 15 pounds), I went to a new shelter to look for a dog. I asked for a small dog and there were none. I told the volunteer that I was willing to consider slightly bigger dogs (under 30 lbs). Stella was the first dog she showed me and I fell in love right away. She was the only dog that wasn't running around her enclosure like a maniac and wasn't barking. When I bent down she came right up to me, sniffed me and gave my hand a lick. I instantly told the volunteer to let her out so I could take her for a walk and some playtime. We had a wonderful walk. You would have thought she had always been mine. For the sake of argument, I did a walk and playtime with another dog. She was adorable too, but Stella had my heart. I filled out the papers right then and wanted to take her home, but she needed to be spayed. I actually just picked her up today (Aug 6, 2005). I'm in love with her already. I'll add info to her page as I figure her out.

Stella is a sweetheart! She's one of the happiest dogs I ever met and is so curious about everything around her. She's very social and loves to meet new dogs and people. She's just got a great personality. People who know her always say she's got big dog toughness (she loves to wrestle with the biggest dogs she can find) with a tiny dog's sensibility all wrapped up in a medium sized package. She's been a great addition to my life and I love her to death!

I have a brother. He's younger than me and he's driving me nuts. He doesn't know ANYTHING! He's naughty and doesn't sit when he's told to or get in his crate. He barks a lot! He gets in my way when we walk and today he went potty on my head! I wonder if mommy would notice if I locked him outside on the patio.

Wow! It's been awhile

I haven't been here in a long time. There's been a lot going on. Mommy has a new boy around that says he's my daddy. He's been around for almost a year now. He also says he's allergic to me, but he kisses and loves on me just as much as Mommy so I don't know how true that is. Mommy and I are getting ready to move to a new apartment. I don't like the stairs that I have to go to that I need to walk up and down to get to the apartment, but the rest is ok. I think Mommy has something up her sleeve though because my bed isn't in her room anymore. It's in the living room. I think that daddy guy is trying to kick me out. The new place also doesn't have carpet except in Mommy's room. I don't like that either, but Mommy says that it will help Daddy's allergies. Mommy said she saw a dog across the hall from us, so maybe I'll have a new friend. It's getting to be my bedtime. Night night.

Woof! I'm so excited about Christmas. Humommy said that Christmas is all about me this year. Yay! I wonder what I'll get....I want lots of stuff. I want that pretty red, green and white rhinestone collar that I saw in that doggie catalogue that comes when mom orders my food. I also want more blankets for my doggie nest. It would be perfect with two more. Of course I want more chewies. I don't know what kind the Humom will get me, but she knows what I like. Humom even said I might get a brother or sister for Christmas but she's not sure. If not a brother or sister, she said I might have a new friend to play with since my adopteddaddy said he might get his own doggie since Humommy is tired of him trying to steal me when she brings me to his house. That would be so much fun! I'm crossing my paws that I'll have a new doggie relative soon. Happy Holidays to all the doggies reading this!!!

Doggie Kisses!
