Arrival Story:
harley is our rescue dog. we have known him since he was 5 weeks old. he lived next door to us. he would come over to play with molson. when he was about 3 months old we noticed he wasn't looking very healthy. he was not a chubby puppy and he coat was dry and coarse. we would bring himover to "play" a few times a week to make sure he was getting food an water. after some time it came to the point he wouldnt want to go home. we wanted to keep him. we thought we had our chance when we got to take him because his owner was busted for some reason. harley lived with us for 2 weeks. we talked to the human society and they siad that it was not our "property" so there was nothing we could do. it broke my heart. about a month later we moved and left the area. well a month after that i got a call from 2 neighbors there had been another bust. a friend went over and picked up harley and he came home. he was so happy to see us. it has been nearly a year now and he still continues to come out of his shell and continues to develop more personality every day. he smiles all the time now.
