colonial park in manville, behind our apartment in the fields. any where i will allow him to chase a squirrellor a ground hog.
Best Tricks:
high five low five, roll over, no leash needed even if a chipmonk crosses our path daddy had to give the go ahead.
Arrival Story:
my wife and i moved to downtown sanfrancisco, i am disabled and we thought a shepard for protection and a companion in lew of children for our parrot, a sixteen year old maroon bellied conard would be great. our storage unit was across the street from the local spca and after my wife and i visited animal care and control, well our hearts were broken that such wonderful creatures were thrown away. so we rescued toby tyler and in so many ways he has rescued us since. he pulls me up hills, licks my face when the pain of life gets me down, and gives a great defensive woof at the occasional bad guy downtown s.f. we have since moved to new jersey to be near family. we have a new doggie friend for toby and we will post him soon. as toby is a companion animal he flew in the airplane with us and was the hit of the party with his gentle manner and great behavior. he is fast approaching six now and with duke the german shepard nipping at his heels he still plays like a puppy. the pain of my nuropathy gets worse every year and toby will lie right on top of me when it gets really bad as if he is trying to take it away, what a gift our animal friends are. he keeps me going.
Bio:
toby has a lot of friends in the city by the bay as i spend a good deal of time out doors with him, so hello guys!!!!!wooof wooof wooof!toby tyler is also a certified service dog and accompanies us on busses the under ground and bart.we have visited friends in the hospital together as well where we spread cheer and high fives. all in a days work !!! we love dogster and bestfriends.org where toby tyler came from in utah via a trade. oh yes i should mention his uncle dave , any time he see's my neihbor david he ditches me and rushes to greet david or rather david's kitchen hee! hee! spoiled this dog is for sure. more pics soon from our new home in jersey
