   Leave a bone for Tori

Nicknames:
Her full name was Vyctoria's Secret

Quick Bio:
-purebred

Likes:
Tori loved to go outside! It was the highlight of her very existance.

Pet-Peeves:
Tori didn't like being told no, and she hated baths.

Favorite Toy:
Tori's favorite toy was this wooly little stuffed toy with a squeaky. She "killed" every other stuffed toy, except this one. She carried it everywhere with her, and slept with it.

Favorite Food:
Tori loved anything we were eating. Her favorite holiday was Thanksgiving because she got a plate full of turkey and mashed potatoes with gravy!

Favorite Walk:
Tori loved going anywhere for a walk.

Arrival Story:
I got Tori at a flea market as an 8 week old puppy, long before I ever knew what a puppy mill was. Now, after being involved in rescue, I know that you should never get a dog at a flea market. Tori was my constant companion, and the love of my life. She loved me unconditionally, and when I took her with my to the rescue to find her a partner in crime, the director of the rescue even said she could tell how attached to me Tori was. Tori would never go far from my side!! Tori is the reason I got Evie, who led me into the rescue world.

Bio:
Tori is in heaven now with my mother. I lost Tori on Christmas night, 2002, and I lost my mother to cancer in February of 2003. Soon thereafter a foster dog who watched over my mother died, and then our 16 year old cat died. It was a long line of heartache. My Tori was my angel and I will always love her. She is in heaven now with her grandma. I keep her ashes in a cedar urn, and her leash, tags and her favorite toy - the one she refused to kill - stays near her ashes, locked in a curio cabinet with my mother's ashes. Losing a pet is not something that non-animal people can understand. It's hard when the crying won't stop and no one understands. I lost my Tori to veterinary malpractice at the young age of 4. She went in for a spay surgery, and she died almost exactly 1 month later from complications of some kind.
