   Leave a bone for Cocoa

Cocoa Puff, Lucy, Cokes, Snookums, Pretty

Doggie Dynamics:
not playfulvery playful

Quick Bio:

May 1st 2005

I love cuddlng with my mommy, playing with and ripping up paper, running around the house and I especially love baths and being in water. Oh and belly rubs..I LOVE belly rubs

I don't like loud noises, the mailman, cold weather (brrr), being shampooed and not being the center of attention

Favorite Toy:
I love my squirrel and my rawhide bones. Fuzzy slippers are also a favorite

Favorite Food:
Eukanuba, Pupperoni and anything crunchy like apples. My mommy sometimes gives me a Cheerio or two at breakfast. I also love bread.

Favorite Walk:
The backyard, browsing Petsmart...

Best Tricks:
I am really good at giving kisses when asked for them. I can play dead, sit, spin and let my family know when I need to go outside just by spinning and barking.

Arrival Story:
My mommy found me the day before her birthday. She had been looking for someone like me since she lost my sister Daphne. I was only 5 weeks old when she called up my other mom's family so she could stop by and meet me and my brothers and sister. She played with all of us, but as soon as I was in her arms I knew I loved her, and I know she felt the same about me. So she brought me home and now I have the run of the house. I make her smile though, and she keeps me very happy. I still miss my other mommy, daddy, granddaddy and siblings, but I feel right at home now.

My AKC name is Cleopatra Anastacia...but my mom thought that was way too long to say when calling me, so she named me Cocoa because I'm sweet and have a lot of cocoa coloring in me. I weigh just about 4 pounds and I love sleeping on my mommy's neck.

Spring is here

I love spring because I love to run around in the back yard and chase squirrels. I can't do that in the winter because I just hate the cold. But the bad thing about spring is that I get allergies. I start wheezing and my back gets all itchy. So this week I had to go to the vet and get a shot. It really didn't hurt, and I feel so much better.
I'm going to go on my long first road trip next week! It should be a lot of fun.

My Tail of Devotion for Cocoa

Cocoa and I tend to communicate extremely well without even using words. From the first time I held her in my hands we formed a connection. It's as if we know what each other is thinking. She knows when I'm happy, sad, sick, calm and she lets me know she knows just by her actions. I can look into her eyes and I see something there that lets me know she understands.
I think Cocoa would say the same about me. I know what each of her barks mean and I can tell her thought processes just by looking at her. Everyone tells me it's amazing how I understand what she is trying to express to me. I had a dog before Cocoa and I loved her with all of my heart, but I never experienced this type of bond before.

This is a special Tail of Devotion

I've had such a good summer so far. I love the hot weather and sun and every time I go out I just want to lay in the grass and enjoy myself. My family got a fish pond so I've been taking care of the fish too. One jumped out the other day and I let everyone know. Good thing too, they were able to put him back in the pond and he's fine now. Silly fish.
I've been with my family for over a year now and it's been great. I'm so spoiled and loved. I also got to meet my Dogster friend Gilly last month. She was so nice! I didn't know what to make of her at first because she was so much bigger than me, but we had fun. I tried to get her to run around in the back yard with me but her hip hurt so she couldn't keep up with me. I could tell she was having fun though because her tail was wagging as fast as mine. I can't wait for her to visit again.
