Bissell Contest

Mom entered me in the Bissell contest. I had to go to the beach for the picture, yikes! I did much better than Teddy, she wouldn't sit still, so she doesn't get to be in the contest like I do. I was a good girl :)

Hawaii is fun :)

My sister and I finally made it to Hawaii to live with Mom and Dad. I love the warmth, it sure beats the cold PA snow! The plane ride wasn't fun, I'm not even going to get into THAT. Grammy, Pap Pap and Mom took Teddy and I to the beach one of the first days we were here. We had a blast! I walked with Mom along the shore, but then a big wave came up pretty far and got me wet. I HATE getting wet! I never saw a beach before that day, but now I know what to expect. As long as I stay off the sand, I shouldn't get wet. Mom tries to convince me that it's OK if we stay away from the water, but I'm not to sure on that. Mom also gave us stupid haircuts. She cut most of the fur off our legs and bellies because things were sticking in there. I look like a sheep now! I'm all furry, with skinny little shaved legs. My new Chihuahua boyfriend from next door doesn't seem to care, he still pays all kinds of attention to me (even though I keep growling at him to back off). Mom said she's glad I can't have puppies, she doesn't want to be a Grammy until my human brother is old enough for kids. Dad is in Germany right now. I'm kind of bummed about that because he's the one who sneaks me the most table food. Mom is worried about my weight and has stopped giving me people food until I lose a pound or so. I can't help it, food is good and I'm so cute that hardly anyone can resist feeding me when I stand up to let them know I'd like something.

Mom and Dad moved to Hawaii in August and Teddy and I have been living with Grammy until she takes us back to Mom and Dad in January. We both had to get a lot of vet work done before we can move back with Mom and Dad since Hawaii is strict about pets coming into the state. I can't wait to go to the beach with Mom and Dad when I move to Hawaii with them! I've been having a great time at Grammys, Pop Pop likes to feed and spoil me. I love my Grammy too, she's a good cuddler and petter. Mommy misses me bunches, I know she'll be happy to see me again.

Daddy and Mommy moved to Hawaii for Daddy's work and are going to live there for three years. Teddy and I are staying with Grammy for now, but she's going to take us back to Mom and Dad in January, after we meet all the medical requirements. Mommy sure misses us, we're her little girls. I finally decided it's worth it to get my little princess feet wet when I go out to potty in the morning because Grammy gives me yummy cookies if I do. I'm getting spoiled rotten living with Grammy and Pap Pap, Mom's going to in for a rude awakening when I go back to her!

Xmas

My Xmas was good! I got a new soccer ball, some chewies and a stuffed bone. I played with everything already. RJ got a tent for his bed that looks like a space shuttle, and I've been going in it to play astronaut with him, it sure is fun! I miss my Daddy a lot, he's in Iraq. I can't wait for him to come home and snuggle with me!

Grrrr

I think I'm onto Mom! I KNOW I'm getting a bath very soon. Teddy and I were discussing it and we were just starting to work up a good dog smell too. DRAT! I hate when Mom makes us smell pretty!

a Dog's life...

I slept with Mommy and Daddy too last night. I was so good and snuggled under the covers in between them. Mommy even rubbed my belly for a little while...aaaahhh! She's kind of upset with me now though because I had an accident in the hall this morning after I had been outside. Oops!

Hello everyone

My name is Bailey and I'm almost three. I'm a spayed shih tzu girl and I love sports. My favorite thing in the world to do is push my soccer ball around the yard or chase a frisbee when Mommy throws one for me. I can't catch it yet, but I sure like to chase it and bring it back! Teddy is my doggy sister and we always play with each other. Our best game is hopping down onto the other one from up on the couch, it's so much fun! Teddy was really sick a few weeks ago and Mommy and Daddy had to take her to the vet. When she came home I wasn't allowed to go near her for the first few days so we sat on opposite sides of the glass door and cried. I'm sure glad we're together again!
