Pet-Peeves: Buster will tolerate anything...BUT trim his toenails and he screams bloody murder!

Favorite Toy: Stuffed animals without the stuffing, balls, ropes, the cats' toys

Favorite Food: Anything and everything...He performs his entire trick portfolio in fastforward if he even suspects that a treat is involved.

Favorite Walk: Buster is the best walking buddy ever...He's a bit gimp so you don't have to worry about him outrunning you or making you feel out of shape...and he walks just a tad bit ahead of you and stops to make sure you're coming

Best Tricks: Sit, Stay, Come, Leave it, Shake, High 5, Roll over, Speak, Lay down, Balances a treat on his nose and catches it,and believe it or not this hipless wonder received a "EE" for "Excellent Effort" in agility stunts

Arrival Story: Other people my mom's age were using their mom and dad's money to party like rock stars...Her idea of a good time was a bit different. Her senior year of college, I was rescued from the Austin pound by a very nice lady at The Austin Humane Society who did not want me to be put to sleep. If only I could tell you my story prior to that...All my human friends know is that I was dumped at the shelter and could not walk. She brought me into the vet clinic that my mom worked at for some treatment...and the rest is history. College scholarship money and apartment lease breaching later, my mom was in love. Funny how things work...my mom was looking to rescue a Great Dane...who would have thought that this 29 lb sweetie (about10lbs at the time) would steal her heart!

Bio: When Buster was just a little puppy he survived some critical surgeries to repair a diaphragmatic hernia and have both femoral heads removed...all while his pelvis was broken! The sweetest pumpkinhead ever, the most well-behaved dog on the planet. He defied all odds and gave new meaning to the word "fighter" when he recovered from surgery after the doctor threw his hands in the air and said it was all up to him!
