 Quick Bio:
Likes: Being near her people/cuddling, walks, meeting new friends human & canine.

Pet-Peeves: Not being the center of attention, ringing cell phones

Favorite Toy: That indestructable (really!) Earthball, Kong (filled with penaut butter of course!)

Favorite Food: While Joon has shown a curious taste for whole coffee beans, raw cranberries, and onions which have fallen off the counter, she is most fond of peanut butter and the special salmon cookies her mom makes. mmmmmm

Favorite Walk: Any long walk is fine by Joon, but her fave is through the mud at Marymoor - swamp stomping is good for the soul, according to Joon!

Best Tricks: ringing a bell when she needs to go outside; fly catching; summoning a treat from her Dad with her special "cookie pose"

Arrival Story: Having wanted a dog for many years, we happened upon a chance meeting of Joon's older cousin Oliver. After further research we knew Berners were the right breed for us. When it came time to select one of ten adorable pups Joon clearly stood out as the sweetest one there. Joon is a sweetheart who brings so much joy & happiness into our home - we just love her!

Bio: As a young pup, little Joon was quite the traffic stopper - literally. This girl actually had metro city bus drivers stop in the middle of the street and pull open their window to remark on her cuteness...several other times people drove by her, then put their car in reverse up the street to come back and inquire about her breed - wow! Who knew a cute pup could draw so much attention & interest? Nowadays, whenever we go out we can count on being greeted by interested strangers who want to meet Joon - it is a lot of fun, and Joon loves the attention!...and as of June 2004, our girl is a certified therapy dog! We are so proud!....an update - in summer of 2007 our sweet girl thankfully survived a very sudden & aggressive encounter with bone cancer. Chondrosarcoma is a cartilage-based tumor, and hers was frightfully large and miraculously removed completely (along with 5 ribs) by Joon's very skilled surgeon at ACCESS Seattle. She has since recovered fully, has a new vigor about her, and we are grateful for each day we have with her.
