Arrival Story:
I saw a flyer on a telephone pole in West Oakland for pit bull puppies. I went to the address, and was greeted by 30-time Grand Sumo Champion Takanohana (The Proud Flower). He challenged me to a battle for his puppies, and after 16 sweaty hours I was triumphant, and Taka was mine! (actually, he's just the best rescue dog ever!)

Bio:
Taka was a great dog, and we loved him very much. We are thankful to have had 4 years with him and to have learned so much from him. We will miss him always.
