Arrival Story:
We had decided we wanted a newfie some years before, but had to wait until we had a garden which we thought was big enough. In late '95 we moved house just for a big garden! In the summer of '96 life changed forever when we brought home our very first newfie... Molly.

Bio:
Newfs are supposed to be gentle and loving, and we were told that blacks were the most laid back of the colours. Well from day one Molly wanted to prove everyone wrong! She was an evil pup, she was more stubborn than 6 stubborn adult newfs put together and she was sheer hard work! If you told her she couldn't do something she did it! If you put a fence up that she couldn't go over she would go under, and if she couldn't get under she would make sure she got through it! She got the name Mole as she was always digging huge holes in the garden, and even digging up shrubs! And I won't tell you why she was called Molly Moo! You can imagine I'm sure!!! Thank goodness she calmed down with age!! You wouldn't believe that the quiet sleepy creature that normally does as she is told now, was such a very naughty girl when she was younger!
