Best Tricks:
I like to run and jump and fly off stuff. My mom calls me Tony Hawk.

Arrival Story:
One day my friends called me saying there were Miniature Schnauzer puppies for sale by their house. Although I love the schnauzers and can't resist puppies, I wasn't looking to get a new dog. They called back a little while later and told me that the little girl puppy left was named "Buffy." As an avid fan of the vampire show, this seemed too much like fate. I agreed to drive up and see her. That was it.

Bio:
Olive, and her mom, just recently moved into their first home away from home. They share an apartment with Olive's mom's sister and Olive's mom's sister's schnauzer Jasper. This is great fun. Olive takes after her mom and aunt and does whatever she pleases. Poor Jasper, he is the only male in the house and has no chance.

First Time...

What to write? What to write? Do I have enough time to write this? Is mom using the hairdryer? I better be quick so I can sit on her rug and have her fan me with the cool shot. I'm loving life. I basically run the house and get tons o treats, both dog and human. I have to endure some things I don't love, like wearing clothes and hanging out in my crate during the day but the most part, I got it made.

A couple of months ago, I went to the vet and had some sort of surgery. Let me tell you, that bit! But I recovered very quickly and am feeling fine. I think my mom is glad I got it done cause whenever the subject comes up, she says "I ain't raisin' no babies!" I love living with my "brother" Jasper. We like to wrestle and try to out bark one another. Our moms tell us we are breaking the sound barriers. I also love to cuddle with him and he likes to obsessivley-compulsively bathe me. I'll let him do it for awhile, and then I'm like "Dude, I'm soaked, ease up." I get to play with lots of other dogs besides Jasper, too. My cousin Max, yorkie clocking in at 7 pounds, is like my little toy and we run each other back and forth til we pass out. I also get to play with my brother's brother Wilson who is like my idol. I love all things Wilson! I am trying to grow tall and big like him. I'm not too far off from his 20 pounds. The only dog I am not dominate over is Sasha, my "aunt." She is a 7 year old black & silver Schnauzer and she lives with my grandparents. She is the boss and whenever I'm around her, for some reason, my ears get really low to my head and I don't make any noise.

I'm still trying to learn how to walk on a leash. Me and Jasper aren't very good at not getting caught up in each other's leashes and our moms often have to crawl under bushes and stuff to untie us. I try to make my mom feel better by jumping on her and kissing her face while she is doing this and I think it helps cause she always, "Olive!" like "Yeah!"

I really like my grandparents and all my aunts and uncles. They like to joke about my crazy ears. Apparently, they are only used to seeing Schnauzers with two uncropped, giant ears. Well I have one of those. But the other one is floppy. So I look a little silly. My mom says it's ok. She says I have one floppy ear for my biological family (my dog mom & dad both had floppy ears) and one radar ear for my adopted family. I'm diverse and I embrace all.

Well, until later.... I have to go smell all the make-up my mom is putting on her face and rub the lotion on her legs all over me. Bye!!!
