Scamp passed on to heaven on January 6, 2012. We love you scamp, you made us laugh, we had fun and we miss you.

Blindness has hit home

I have become blind in one eye and have cataract on the other, I still do well finding my way around the house and finding my pal Annie. The cats don't bother me anymore. I can't see them to chase them, they even cuddle up to me now. Getting old is not the greatest thing to do, but my mom and her grandkids take good care of me. They tell me I have mellowed out but watch out I have not lost my bark or bite yet! It is good to have a family that loves you, take it from me, I know I am a lucky dog.

Cats

My mom let a bunch of cats move in (temp) she says, they belong to Annies mommy. There was a real tragedy in the family and Annies Mom's boyfriend was in a fatal car accident, so they moved out of their apartment and mom said the cats had to live with us a while. Well-I already have Ethel the Hun (meanest cat in the world). These girls are not so bad but Ethle keeps everyone on edge. There is Dali, midnight, Sumara and Mama Boots along with Ethel the Hun. Most of the cats do not bother me except when they try to steal some cuddle time with mom except Ethel she does not cuddle with anyone, she spits and claws and is mean, mean, meanest cat in the whole world, I have to chase her out of my bedroom and keep her from Annie who she just picks on all the time. Cats, I can do without Ethel, the rest I tolerate Just don't get in my way, Pick on Annie or try to steal cuddle time with mom.
