Birthday: February 15th 2002 Likes: Walks, playing (with humans or dogs) hanging out in our bed at weekends. Also likes to go for rides on the motorbike if it's sunny. Pet-Peeves: Squirrels & flies. Also doesn't like having his claws trimmed, but puts up with it because he loves to have them filed afterwards! Favorite Toy: Long fluffy rainbow snake. Also loves cardboard tubes. Favorite Food: Bailey eats absolutely anything. Even including fruit and veg like raw carrots. He and Kayla get quality dog food, plus they share pretty much all our leftovers. Favorite Walk: Mary Young park in West Linn, or Memorial park in Wilsonville Best Tricks: He does all the usual sit, stay, fetch, wait, come, etc. but also rolls over or barks on command. Arrival Story: We adopted Bailey (original name Tiger) at just a few weeks old from the Marin Humane Society, Novato, CA. We were originally looking for an older (2 year old) dog, but Bailey won us over. He is a great car dog and loves our new home in Oregon. Bio: Being part cattle dog (heeler) he is very smart, and picks up commands and tricks very quickly. A friend's kids taught him to 'roll over' on command with just five or six repetitions. We thought he was pure heeler, but he stopped growing at 25lbs. He has very typical red heeler markings and coloring. He's very cute, and knows it! He does agility trials, and has taken to it like a duck to water. He won two rosettes in his first competition! He and Kayla get on well, often playing together spontaneously. He likes to ride in a designed-for-dogs bag on the back of my motorcycle, complete with hat and goggles. I've Been On Dogster Since:
