Arrival Story:
Woodruff is from a breeder in Woodside CA. I started off with him and his brother William because I could not decide between the two so I took them both. Big mistake. Too much sibling rivalry. William was adopted by friends and both dogs are much happier now.

Bio:
Woodruff has his papers and his lineage dates way back in time to his ancestors in England. He is an extremely afffectionate dog. He will give you kisses on command. He has more personality than any dog I've ever known. He gives lots of eye contact, he smiles, and although he's getting on in years, he still has all the energy of a puppy. He understands English very well, particularly the phrases, "Let's go for a ride in the car", "Do you want to play frisbee?" and "Time for your bath." Woodruff will play fetch nonstop for as long as you're willing to throw the ball. This begins first thing in the morning. He brings the ball to my bed. It continues as I shower - he drops the ball in the tub - and through the day, it's all about fetch. If you ignore him he will bark. If you shush him, he will be quiet, but he will pout. Woodruff almost always gets his way, he is a very spoiled dog, but of course he's worth it. He's very obedient, and well mannered, and he is such a charmer. He loves grown-ups and children, and his sister Sohpie the cat, but I must admit he just does not care for other dogs. To him, there is only room on this earth for one dog, Woodruff. I've known plenty of dogs in my day, but this dog is truly extraordinary. I'm quite blessed to be his master.
