Hi faithful human friends! Well, Mommy and Daddy and I moved to FL. Mommy and Daddy moved seperately, and they live in different towns now, but I still get to see Daddy fairly often. He doesn't have his own place yet, so I mostly stay here.
We had a bad hurricane last week! It took out the power for days, and it made me really nervous. I barked a lot, which drove Mommy crazy, but I need to protect her! Fortunately, we got power on Friday which was before a lot of people.
I have to say, I am worried about the other doggies in this area. I am sure a lot of humans and their dog friends lost their homes, and I wish I knew of a way that Mommy and I could help the other dogs, but she's only allowed one dog here.
Mommy is busy with school and her volunteer work. She says to me that she can't believe she is back in school again at her age. I tell her she looks young to me and she'll always be my mommy.
Florida is a lot quieter than New York was. We go for walks here in the woods and stuff, and I love it. I get to chase my ball really far and bring it back, not like at the dog run in NYC at all!
Anyway, I'll try to update more frequently. Mommy surprised me with a bunch of new toys when we moved, so I have been really busy lately. I am praying for all the doggies out there who need homes!

Hi, my name is Rooster. Thanks for visiting me. I' d really like to tell you about my first day meeting my parents. It was a special day for me, and one I will never forget.
See, I was born to Amy Clark - a great breeder in Michigan. She told me that there was a couple that chose me, and she showed me their picture. She even gave me a gift from them called a SnugglePuppy.
I learned that my new parents lived in New York City - a land far away and magical. I couldn't wait to see them, but I had to stay a little longer in Michigan since I would be flying on an airplane.
The airplane was kind of scary for me, but I had my SnugglePuppy the whole time, and it's heart beat like my mother's did. It made me feel a lot safer, but when they took me out of the crate, I didn't want to go back in for two days!
When they took me to their apartment, I found a pee pee mat right away and I pooped on it. They were so proud of me that I got a special treat. I was wary of these strangers, but I could feel the love in their hearts.
That night, I slept in a puppy bed made for me, and I got out only once to go potty on the mat. Two nights later, I was back in the crate until I was full crate-trained. Then I got to sleep in the bed with them!
I'll write more about my life later. These days, I live with my Mommy because she and Daddy split up. Daddy comes to see me A LOT, though, and sometimes I go to his place. I miss them being together, but it's worked out okay so far.
