Being with my family - Momma, Daddy, and Seth. I really want to make friends with the "funny dogs" [cats], but they only hiss at me... :( Oh...I also like chewing on stuff...and farting.
I don't like baths very much, nor having my nails trimmed.
Anything that squeaks!
Peanut butter, bacon-flavored Nylabones, liver treats, and Cheez-Its.
Anywhere my family goes!
Momma's Story: As a reward to myself for quitting smoking, I decided to get a dog. After a LOT of research, I settled on the Boxer breed as the type of dog I wanted to get (mainly because of reading this line: "If you're looking for a 70-lb lapdog...get a Boxer!")
My husband and I went to pick out a puppy from a litter. We wanted a boy and had a boy name all picked out (Merlyn). When I walked into the room where the puppies were, Sassi ran right over and jumped up on my foot, even though the breeder had just put down the puppies' food and all the other puppies ran for the food dish. I picked Sassi up and she attacked me with kisses. So really, Sassi picked ME out! We spent the next couple of weeks picking a name for her before she came home.
I have one skinbrother (Seth), two furry brothers (Luke and Junior), and two furry sisters (Smoki and Patches). Junior, Smoki, and Patches are some weird sort of dogs called "cats" and they seem like they don't really like me. Momma and Daddy told me I can't chase cats, so I try really hard to be good, but all I want to do is play... Oh...I did have one more furry brother named Nicodemus, who lived upstairs in a cage, but he died in Fall 2005:( He was some sort of weird dog called a hamster...
Momma and Daddy adopted Luke in June 2006 and we get along great!!
I will attack viciously...with kisses!

Well, I said I would TRY to update more often... Things have been really busy around here!!! I have had THREE foster brothers! THREE!!! Momma and Daddy decided to start fostering Boxers. My first brother, Brutus, was white like me, only he was deaf. He also wanted to eat the cats. Momma said that was not a good thing...and so he had to be adopted:(
Joe was my second brother. He was a big goofy brindle boy and he was adopted by a man in New Hampshire and now spends most of his time hiking in the mountains and playing on Lake Winnepesaukee. What a lucky boy!
My third foster brother was Luke. Luke was a lot like Brutus, only not white and not deaf...and he doesn't want to eat the cats. Momma said he's a sweet boy just like Brutus was, and so she and Daddy decided that we couldn't let Luke get away and so we have adopted him!! You can see him on his own Dogster page!
It's so nice to have a brother at home. We can play with each other whenever we want and I have someone to cuddle with at night (besides Momma and Daddy:) Momma said we're going to foster again sometime, so then there will be three of us here!! I can't wait!!

Sassi, in the little more than a year that you have been with us, you have brought so much joy into our lives. You have given us so much and I often feel as though we give you so little in return. You have made me realize that life's not all about work and bills, mortgages and cleaning house. It's about dog parks and wagging tails, wiggly butts and big sloppy wet kisses.
This morning you pulled all the stuffing out of the armrest of Daddy's reclining chair...and when I came downstairs asking "What did you DO?" you looked up at me from where you were laying on the couch, an angel amid a cloud of stuffing, and with that one look you told me that the stuffing in the armrest could be replaced, that life needed a little levity today.
From the bottom of my heart and the depths of my soul, thank you my sweet, sweet baby:)

Well, things have been a little hectic at home since that Halloween party. My grandma was sick with kidney cancer (she is doing GREAT!) and my auntie needed some moral support from Momma (she's doing pretty good!). Daddy had a great aunt die on Christmas Eve, which was very sad, but Momma and Daddy said she was 96, so it was a "happy-sad."
Those weird dogs are starting to come around a little bit. I've learned "NO KITTY" pretty good, but sometimes I just wanna play. They're never in the mood, though. My big brother Junior and I will sometimes get cookies in the same room, but he looks at me funny, especially when I wiggle my butt and try to scoot over near him. Momma told me I'm just too energetic for him because he is 13 years old.
Momma says I'm potty trained, and tells me I'm a good girl every time I pee or poop outside. Yeah, she should try it!!! It's COLD out there!! We had a snowstorm a couple weeks ago. I had lots of fun and finally learned what those stupid things Momma kept putting on my feet were (she calls them "BOOTS" and says they're to keep my piggies warm). I ran around in the snow until I turned pink (about 20 mins.), then Momma said it was time to go in. There's a picture of me playing in the snow with my Jolly Ball!
Momma and Daddy said I might get a foster brother soon. I can't wait! We have been going to the dog parks, but it would be really nice to have a buddy right at home that I can burn off some energy with! Especially since those funny-lookin' dogs (cats) don't want anything to do with playing:(
That's all for now! I will try to update more often!
