On Easter, Suhmr had her first sweet ever! A green jelly bean and she's never forgotten it~

a casual stroll to see if any of the cats have left any food in their bowls!

Arrival Story:
I got Suhmr on March 18, one day after I had to put my Alaskan Malamute Max down. I was so depressed, I was grieving, had NEVER been without a dog and couldn't do it now. I went to three pounds and in one I picked out a different dog.........but that dog needed medical care, couldn't leave with me then and for some reason I knew that wouldn't work out. At thte last shelter I found Suhmr. She was very small, the last puppy left in her litter. The shelter manager let me take her out on the grass to get to know her better. What really sold me was she had a little crook in her tail just like Max! It was truly love at first sight and even though she at first reminded me of Max, she has her own wonderful personality and has been a faithful friend and companion for nine years~
