Arrival Story:
I worked in a veterinary hospital, he came in when he was 5 days old and was very weak, cold, and hungry. His owners did not want to spend any money on his care, so they signed him over to me. I had to tube feed him (he would not use a bottle) every few hours for several days. It was touch and go for awhile, but now he is a handsome, sweet, wonderful dog.

Wow, I am a 13 year old dogger today! My mom worked at a veterinary hospital and I was dumped there when I was only five days old because my dog moms people didn't want to spend any money on me to get me well. I got signed over to the vets office and my new mom took me home to try and save me. Well she must have done a good job 'cause I am here thirteen years later! It was touch and go for awhile, but with all that tlc I came thru it. I just had my senior check up and bloodwork and my moms boss says I'm doing great for my age, just a little wear and tear on my kidneys showing up. I sleep alot but when I am feeling frisky I like to annoy my brother Fergus and try and steal his chewy bones. Mom says she is going to PetsMart today to get me a bone just for me, I can't wait!!!

My name is Badger and I will be 9 yrs. old tomorrow. No one thought
I would live longer than a few days, but here I am thanks to
a lot of TLC from my mom. I live in Iowa but I was born
in Colorado on a very snowy and cold January day. I have a sister,
her name is Bunny and she is a brat, she likes to chew on my
leg. My mom has promised me a greenie for my birthday plus I get to
have canned food for dinner, yeah!
